I just had a great experience at NYC Dental. Beatrice was my first connection there and she is absolutely the best. Warm & welcoming. The Dentist and X-ray Tech were also professional and kind. Second to none! You should definitely come here!

Absolute Professionals from front desk to dentist chair. Beatrice is an entire vibe! She is personable, friendly, and good with the patients. Dr. Lee is also super super personable and professional. I noticed his demeanor with another patient and he was so caring and explained things/answer all her questions. He took his time with my Mom's care as well and was quick and efficient. The office is super clean and in a very nice location. My new "Dental Situation" Thanks Guys 💙🧡💙

The receptionist Beatrice was absolutely amazing and warm. The one star is for Dr. Jason Li. We would have given him zero star if possible. My 70-year-old mother-in-law went to this office yesterday for an emergency visit due to acute tooth pain. We just wanted the general dentist to examine her and let us know the options. If it is salvageable, we hope he would do some filling on the spot so my mom will not hurt. If it needs root canal or extraction, we would go to a specialist. My mom does not speak any English, but we were not available to be there the whole time, so my wife wrote everything about my mom and the visit and her phone number in English on a piece of paper and left it with Beatrice. We also paid out of pocket for more X-ray on my mother’s tooth. My mom said Dr. Li’s bedside manner was rude and cold. He did not greet my mom or smile and did not ask her what’s bothering her. He did not even look at my mom’s tooth. Truth be told, he never went anywhere near my mom’s mouth. He just called my wife and told her he could not help my mom because of her inability to communicate. When my wife challenged him about this, he changed his story saying he could not find what’s wrong with her despite the X-ray, the deep cavity on her tooth and the number of the tooth involved clearly indicated on my mom’s file. When my wife asked him to look further since my mom is hurting, he said during an emergency visit he could only look at the tooth in question and found nothing wrong with it. When my wife said she did not care about the cost and asked him to do a comprehensive examination because her mother was in pain, he refused saying he could not and gave her some BS about lacking the training to see the cavity. The bottom line is for whatever reason, Dr. Li refused to help a 70-year-old woman in pain. That’s why he said nothing when my wife asked him “do you have any humanity”. Only when pressed by Beatrice, he mumbled something like 300 dollars for comprehensive examination. But at this point my wife has lost all the confidence and trust in him and would not trust him with her mom’s care. To be fair to the practice, they did refund us for the X-ray. We don’t care about the money. We just wanted them to help my mom so she would not be hurting. It’s a total waste of time and a terrible experience.

If I treat you with courtesy and respect then I expect the same. That is all. Horrific experience with receptionist. It wasn't just bad. It was horrible. That's the only reason I'm writing this review. Had been waiting for an update call from the office. Waited several weeks and no update; not a problem. Called three times to follow up. Despite being extremely courteous, succinct, and clear to the receptionist, she was (1) exceptionally rude and (2) lied to me literally multiple times. When I realized that she was not going to help and asked her to put me through to someone else on the staff, she refused and would say she’s too busy. This happened on the first two phone calls. When I literally said, on several occasions on todays phone call, that I’ve been nothing but kind and polite to her but she’s being very rude, yelling, not listening, talking over me, lecturing me, she responded “Well that’s your opinion”. That’s how bad her conduct was. If I could avoid ever being subjected to that kind of treatment by a stranger on the phone and speaking with her again, I would. This was all without provocation. She then claimed that she was helping me and I was the one being rude to her. You've got to be kidding. Doctor Hubscher is still great. - Original Review - Doctor Hubscher is a pro. Knowledgeable, skilled, and detail oriented. Beatrice at the front desk is delightful.
