I made my appointment with ease, it’s less than a 5 minute walk from the train, staff is wonderful, and the office is clean and inviting. The doctor was great at explaining everything to me, and got me out of there within half an hour. 10 out of 10 recommended ??

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Khaloo. He was so informative, patient, kind, and calming. A place that usually gives me anxiety, I automatically felt at ease with him. He did an amazing job and I felt no pain. I’m excited to continue going to see him and refer him to many! Highly recommend

This place is poster child for scammy dentists & over-treatment. I have doubts the reviews that call out Dr. Khaloo specifically are authentic - but even if they are, it's at best a risk you don't need to take. Pls heed the one star reviews! The dentist had good bedside manners, I'll give him that. But when I came here from a different dentist post-deep cleaning (I switched insurance), he insisted I should get some treatment to ensure the pockets heal right that day and gave some pamphlets to sway me - turns out it's not covered by insurance and VERY expensive and research says is ineffective; doctors just get incentivized by the company to rec it and make more money. They also laid the pressure on thick to get Invisalign /that day/ and stated it was not covered by my insurance. I went home to look at the policies and called back that it was; turns out the good doctor just doesn't qualify because he's not an orthodontist. They just hid this for me to sway me into getting subpar treatment at theirs. Just the worse. Stay away! It's places like this that makes you lose faith in providers.

Worst dentist experience I've ever had in my life. Visited them once. The dentist strongly recommended I purchase an appliance after the appointment. When I asked the office manager Alicia and billing department to assist me with my insurance coverage for this appliance (my insurance said they cover the appliance), the dentist office effectively refused to help. I called them approx 10 separate times over 3 months to follow up about reaching out to the insurance company. Rather than apologize and help, they said “they’ve been busy.” They don’t care about their patients. Avoid at all costs.

Have had to follow up weekly for an insurance claim. They made me pay $750 upfront when my insurance covers 80% and its been very difficult getting the reimbursement from NYC dental. They have double the money for my mouthguard now and claim my insurance will send a check…to my international home address in the phillipines….still dont have my $690! They suck!

Dr. Lukashevsky is a fantastic dentist. I saw her a few times years ago and then foolishly stopped seeing her because I moved uptown. I recently went back and now realize how great she really is. She is patient, personable, and extremely skilled. I recommend her without hesitation.
