Northgate Dental

I started going to Northgate dental for general dentistry (routine cleanings, x-rays, fillings, etc.), and then ended up choosing Northgate for my braces treatment as well and I am honestly so happy that I did! Dr. Sakala is my orthodontist and also the owner of the dentistry and she is always so kind and friendly! I feel comfortable asking her any questions and appreciate that she always gives you her full attention. Not to mention, her staff are also very welcoming and willing to go above and beyond to assist your needs.

I went to the dentist and I was told that the main Dentist was on vacation so I got the other one that is there. The hygienist was great The dentist on the other hand was not. She was very unwelcoming. She got snappy with me and told me that I need to listen to music next time and that’s why the numbing medicine wasn’t working. I wasn’t nervous at all. She was upset when I stopped her and I told her I could feel her drilling my tooth. She left pieces of the silver filling material in my mouth. I would never go here again. Stay away!!!!!

I called set an appointment up they're very hard to deal with. So I set an appointment for today 9:28 23 to go get a tooth pulled they're like be here 15 minutes early fill out paperwork. I was there early and they didn't come out of that place till like three something. I had an appointment at 3:00 and my insurance gave me a ride so they were wondering what time to come pick me back up. I had to leave without getting anything done that's not good. I have a really bad tooth. I guess I'm going to have to find somewhere else my insurance can send me you get insurance and this is what happens. Cash is better works faster. Oh well nobody to blame the way the world is. I felt out of place very out of place.

Glad I found this dental location. Every visit is like visiting friends!!! Everyone from the dentist to the staff are very friendly and helpful, both Dr Sakala and Dr Ninan do such a great job and take care of you. More than anything they are honest and straight forward with the work that needs to be done. I wish I had switched to them sooner! Going from a complicated process from my previous dental experience and now to finding a great relief with keeping up and cleaning. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend if you are looking for a dentist office near the Aurora downtown area who takes care of you ??

I made an appointment for 02-09-23 for 1730 for a regular cleaning. The receptionist recommended I come in at 1700 to complete paperwork. I came in 10 minutes earlier to the scheduled appointment incase I could get lucky and be seen early. I walk in and see a small group of people already sitting and waiting and there is no one at the reception desk. So I stand off to the side and wait for the receptionist to return. 10 minutes pass and eventually she comes up to the front and immediately gets on the phone, not acknowledging me. Not wanting to be rude. I continue to stand there and wait patiently. A few minutes go by and I notice another person coming up to the door so I step closer in front of her so the person knows that I am next. The guy comes in and SHE GREETS HIM immediately. She proceeds to help him and get him checked in while STILL not acknowledging me. I notice another family coming in with children so I step EVEN closer to her desk DIRECTLY in front of her. At this point a woman approached her from my left hand side and the receptionist HELPS HER next.. not to mention there was another lady to my right who decided it would be a good move to squeeze past me with a credit card in hand to pay.. I lost my patience and left to avoid a scene. This was my experience. And I didn’t even get seen. No posted signs for check in. Unprofessionalism/ignorance at its finest. I should have listened to the reviews about the receptionist being the issue. Thankfully I didn’t have to experience the negative reviews left about the actual dentist..
