Norfolk Family & Pediatric Dentistry

I took my son in who was just shy of three years for complaints of tooth pain. I was so pleased that the office was set up for children. He played with toys until we went in and Dr. Sapir was positive, happy and his whole vibe completely sold my son that this was a fun experience. He had to be sedated for a procedure and I was extremely nervous and Dr. Sapir reminded me that if I’m ok and happy, my son will be. And he did great! Dr. Sapir had a routine and he ran his room the way he knew best and that can be intense but for me it established trust and my confidence in his treatment plan.

Dr. Sapir is amazing! Our daughter was terrified of the dentist until we found his practice - he has such a wonderful way with children! We have been coming back for a few years now and each and every time it’s a great experience for our kiddo (first visit was at age 5). We highly recommend Dr. Sapir!

The BEST dentist for children. Dr. Sapir is so gentle, kind, patient, friendly, and fun. He really has a way with children. He takes his time to explain what he’s doing to my kids and makes them laugh, so they don’t feel scared, but actually learn and have fun! My kids look forward to their appointments and seeing Dr. Sapir! I bring all 3 kids ages 2-6. Highly recommend!

This dentist office is an hour from me and absolutely worth the drive. Dr. Sapir did a fantastic job explaining each step of the process and calming my son’s nerves (and mine). He provided education and encouragement instead of judgment. If I could give more than five stars I would!

I meant to write this review a long time ago but better late then never! We had such a great experience with Dr.Shabtai. My daughter needed a lot of work done on her teeth and needed laughing gas so we were referred to Dr. Shabtai. I was EXTREMELY nervous about the laughing gas prior to coming in because my daughter was only four years old at the time. Dr. Shabtai made sure both my daughter and I were comfortable during the whole procedure and made sure that we were both aware of everything going on. Not to mention he did an amazing job with her teeth, they look absolutely amazing! Also if you’re in the market for an awesome balloon animal at the end of your visit this is the place for you ! Highly recommend
