Mortensens in New Albany, Indiana provides excellent care for their patients. Dr. Sara is especially uplifting and positive person. I highly recommend her to anybody!

Should look into having their calls answered in office. Scheduled a new patient appointment with interest in getting my Invisalign attachments removed and a cleaning. Was sent a text shortly after saying they had a scheduling issue and I needed to call back and reschedule. Called back and rescheduled my appointment. They said the person that scheduled me put me in a time slot that was not for new patients. Then got a text at 4:30 that same day saying due to the nature of my appointment they were canceling it. I called back a third time and was told that’s not something they do at the office. Why was I scheduled for it twice? Why was a new patient appointment canceled? From reading other reviews scheduling via phone call seems to be a common issue.

Update: Still a great dentist office. They had some unexpected trouble in the office Tuesday last week and unfortunately had to reschedule my appointment. They worked me in less than a week later despite my fairly inflexible short term work schedule. Friendly and professional, even in stressful circumstances. I really prefer this location to all my previous dentists. They don't try to guilt trip me or say anything to make me uncomfortable. I'm not always the best at frequent brushing, but they just give a mild reminder to brush more often without being accusatory. Much better than most other places that made me feel really embarrassed even for things that were more related to medical issues that affected dental health. Previous Review: Always friendly. Offered different payment plans for some expensive work not covered by my insurance including a full upfront payment discount and two different financing options.

They called me and re- scheduled my appointment 4 times BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T SCHEDULE ME RIGHT THE TIME BEFORE FOR WHAT I NEEDED DONE and on the day of the appointment they called again and asked me to come in earlier AGAIN! I work in Louisville and the bridge was closed so I had to go all the way around and also sat in traffic because the bridge was closed so I couldn't get there at the earlier appointment THEY WANTED ME TO DO, so they called me and said they couldn't see me because I was late and they gave my original appointment to someone else! Mortensen this was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 0 STARS IF IT LET ME. I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!

The doctors, assistants, and hygienists are all amazing. The atmosphere is so welcoming and inviting, love this office!!!

I went to the new Albany location a week after a horrible,traumatic and unpleasant appt at the clarksville location,and the experience at New Albany location was wonderful. Lexi was so understanding with me and Dr.T engaged with me as a doctor should. I have a long road to recover after the horrible procedure done by Dr Michael Dick at the Clarksville Indiana Mortenson but I feel much less anxiety knowing I now am at an office with ppl like Lexi and the doctor who truly care and go above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend New Albany Indiana Mortenson location. So thankful to them.
