Posting about my mother’s care. My mother got accepted for a free dental implant. Her dentist proceeded with to remove the tooth (since she had a guaranteed implant), she got clearance from her primary, jumped through all the hoops, now they have declined the implant. So my mother now has to go with a giant hole in her smile since she was lied to. She made it very clear she did not want to have the tooth removed unless the implant was a guarantee. Unless you want a smile with holes do not trust their assistance programs. Apparently even if your finical situation never changes they may just change their mind in the middle of your care even though you were fully accepted by the program. This decision was not made as a result of unsuitable health, the last appointment they had she was on track for her implant. They even checked the bone density of her skull this month. They just decided to remove her grant even though they gave it to her and had not fulfilled it, when asked why her dentist said they didn’t know but they could just work on another tooth instead. Obviously this is not happening if they won’t finish the tooth they’re already supposed to be doing we can’t trust them not to just start and stop midway through another tooth.

This dental school is horrible. They messed up my mouth really bad. That wasn’t the worst part because I understand it’s a school. The worst part was they started work, botched my mouth, took my money for a service they never did and told me to go to another dentist outside of the clinic and come back and they would complete the work. I did that and then Once I requested my dental records for the other dentist to complete, they wrote me a letter saying they couldn’t take me as a patient any longer because I went to another dentist. They took my money for the service then told me to go elsewhere because they couldn’t fix their screw up, the temporary crown came out. I reached out to everyone and waited a very long while one with no response. The dental work started over a year ago. This whole situation was awful and someone needs to be held accountable.

My dental team was professional, thorough, and genuinely caring. They took the time to explain every step of the procedure, ensuring I was comfortable and informed throughout my visit. Their expertise and gentle approach made what could have been a stressful experience into a pleasant one. I had one of my best experiences here. Students and faculty are very talented and caring. Marjan created very calming environment to help me with my anxiety. She has gentle hands and sings when injecting. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience at Midwestern. Highly recommended.

I have been going to the Dental Clinic here for several months. The students working with me are excellent, as are the faculty members supporting them. I have extensive dental needs. I have zero complaints whatsoever about the care I’ve received, and it is SO much more affordable, even with dental insurance. I’m very happy to be able to be a client here and I highly recommend it.
