Merion Village Dental

I don't know how going to the dentist can be pleasant, but that is the best word to describe my experiences at Merion Village Dental. Everyone is awesome. I have been going here for about three years now and can't recommend it enough! I also had my wisdom teeth taken out here and everything was easy with no issues. Ask for Carrie as your hygienist. She is the best! Super friendly, makes you feel at ease, and great at what she does. The same goes for Dr. Hammad. Very warm and easy to talk to.

Just did a cleaning here, been coming here for 20 years and nothing beats Merion Village! Carrie in particular is an excellent hygienist. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed in a professional setting. 5/5

I have been a customer of Merion Village Dental for over 20 years. Appointments are quick and on time. And the people are so friendly and helpful. Very happy with their service.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Staff was extremely kind and attentive to me from the second I walked in the door. Got me in the same day I called and worked through financing options with me as well. Any bad dentist memory goes out the door here. Marla and her staff are top notch!

Waited forever just to get a consultation, and had to wait forever in the waiting area, had a recent appointment and they pushed back my appointment three times, and I was there for almost four hours! Be careful to read bills carefully too because the bill I just got was over two hundred more than the statement I received after the visit! And it’s not just me they tried to overcharge my sister by over five hundred dollars!!! Never going here again! Update: Go check them out on Reddit if you don’t believe me there are so many horror stories exactly like mine, and my family’s. My sisters fillings have also fallen out, and the said I had an exorbitant amount of fillings, which I found suspicious because I am RELIGOUS about my oral hygiene, and avoid soda. I will be going back to my regular Dentist soon to check how many of these alleged cavities are actually there. I repeat do not go here!!!

Not a bad experience and I’m quite anxious at the dentist. Carrie always takes care of me and takes time to let my jaw rest. She’s kind and compassionate and I like that I can continue going back to her but also they always have appointments if I needed to get in. Rest of the staff is pleasant and I find I’m usually in and out with ease.

I have had my teeth cleaned here since I was a kid and it has always been a welcoming place. Carrie does a great job and has been kind with our family. The staff is friendly and every visit has been a nice experience.

Called to schedule an appointment. They said I couldn't schedule until I paid the balance. I did that and was told my appointment was 8am the next day. I get there at 8 and they look at me like I have steaming turds coming out of mouth. Have no record of an appointment. The woman I spoke to clearly knew how to take my money but clearly wasn't interested in making sure my appointment was properly scheduled. I get called, and they tell me they can't do a cleaning for me today. I told the person that was what I asked for when I scheduled. I ended up having to make an appointment at another dentist. This place used to be really good. What a difference a year makes.

I've been going to Merion Village Dental for 5 years now, and despite it being the largest dentist office I've ever been to, it's also the most welcoming. Savannah is an absolute amazing Hygienist (as well as a human being), and Dr. Hammad talks through everything in a manner that is helpful instead of confusing (also, an amazing human being). Couldn't recommend this place more!
