McMurphy Pediatric Dentistry

As a military family new to the area, it is always difficult to have to find new places to seek care. Heard nothing but great things about McMurphy Pediatric Dentistry. From new patient intake, to filling out forms ahead of the appointment online, from first stepping foot inside, everything was amazing! Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and patient. This place was built with kids in mind from the waiting room to the cleaning area. Dr. McMurphy took the time to explain the dentistry’s intent with guiding and helping parents teach their kids proper dental hygiene. They have little things to give to the kids after their appointment which made my kids’ experience that much better. Most definitely recommend!

We are military and just moved to the area and I was looking for a dentist my son could go to for a regular cleaning. They got us in super quick for an appointment, the front desk staff was incredibly sweet, and my son’s cleaning went wonderfully. All the staff were super helpful and informative and more importantly, my son really seemed to enjoy his appointment which is really saying something because he hates going to the dentist. Definitely a 5 star office and I highly recommend!

I recently took my two boys to this dentist and had a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, and we received fast service. They took the time to talk to my children at their level, making them feel comfortable and understood. Plus, they gave out goodie bags, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend this dental office!

Dr. McMurphy and his staff are phenomenal. They do an amazing job interacting with the kids and making the visit easy and enjoyable for the children. A fantastic pediatric dentist office and I would say the best on the gulf coast. Highly recommend!

My sweet girl, and myself were very unsure about going to the dentist for her first visit. We had a wonderful experience. Everyone was great. They walked us through everything that was going to happen at the visit as well as the future treatment plans. My sweet girl was so happy and couldn’t wait to tell everyone about it. I highly recommend Dr. McMurphy.

I had a great experience with my 1-year-old's first appointment! There were many toys to play with/distract. Staff was very friendly and the dentist took plenty of time to explain things to me. We just had an exam for this visit but I have confidence subsequent visits with cleanings, etc. will be just as great!

Avoid This Dentistry! Poor Communication and Transparency I had an awful experience at this dental office. I visited for a routine cleaning, and everything seemed fine until I received the bill. Turns out, they never told me that my insurance was out of network, which resulted in an unexpected and hefty charge. I would have appreciated if they had been upfront about this before my appointment, but instead, I was blindsided with a huge bill after the fact. The lack of communication is unacceptable. When I spoke to the office staff about it, they just brushed it off and acted like it wasn’t a big deal. As a patient, I expect transparency, especially when it comes to financial matters. If they had informed me in advance that my insurance wouldn’t cover the visit, I would’ve had the choice to go elsewhere or make a more informed decision. I won’t be returning and I would not recommend this office to anyone who values clear communication and honest business practices.
