Mask Dental Studio

My wife and I are older patients. At our age we have seen quite a few dentists. We have found Dr.Alexander to be the best dentist we have ever used. He is thorough, takes his time, and does a fine job. He is like a carpenter, measures twice, and cuts once. Highly recommend Mask Dental Studio.

I am so impressed with the friendliness of this office! It makes someone who is very apprehensive about dental work much more at ease. Beautiful facility and professional staff.

My experience was terrible. I scheduled my new patient appointment 2 months ago and had blocked out the afternoon on my schedule. I received an email yesterday from Gina, receptionist, sent at 10:15am asking me to confirm my appointment. I responded confirming at 4:36pm. I received an email this morning about cancelling my appointment because I did not confirm. I tried to call Derek Mask’s office, but Gina doesn’t answer the phone during lunch, which apparently lasts until 1:30. Thus, I hurriedly finished my work day (skipping lunch) and drove to my appointment. Gina informed me that I could see the doctor but that I would have to reschedule my cleaning because my appointment confirmation was not timely enough. She told me she tried to confirm via text but my number was disconnected. As I was certain my number is still working, I asked what number she tried. Seems she had my number wrong. She then said she emailed me, but that she shuts it down at 3:30 and thus my 4:36 (seems like a usual time for someone to still be working after lunch until 1:30) was too late. I mentioned their policy of charging $25 for late cancellations to which she quickly let me know she would not charge me. I let her know that I wasn’t curious about that. I was actually curious if they would pay me $25 since they cancelled late. She said they would not. I will not be rescheduling. Derek Mask’s office never informed me of a confirmation policy, tried to contact me at the wrong number, emailed me the day before my appointment and then expected me to respond immediately (not knowing that in my profession I can’t just stop to check emails), and then attempted to make this a fault of mine. My appointment was a trial to see if my family would all be changing dentists. That obviously will not happen. I hope Derek Mask decides that his time is no more or less valuable than the time of his patients.

I have had my share of dental work in the past. I really have terrible genetics with teeth. My husbands cousin in an assistant at Mask Dental. I finally decided to go in. I needed a lot of work i had been putting off. But wow. The entire staff is fantastic. I was comfortable the whole time. It was the most pleasant dental experience, well as pleasant as possible, that I’ve ever had. I’m a patient for life now!

The entire team is fantastic—professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. The office itself is a standout, decorated like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, making every visit a unique and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!
