Markham Dental - General and Cosmetic Dentistry

We had a great experience with my wife’s first visit to Markham Dental. The staff was friendly, and they conducted all the necessary exams thoroughly. However, it took us about a month to secure this appointment, and now we’ll need to wait again for the cleaning schedule. The first visit was only for the examination, but overall, the service was excellent.

I scheduled an appointment at 4:15 PM to have my tooth fixed. The receptionist/admin, Will, asked for a lot of personal information and then required me to fill out another form with questions that were nearly identical to what I had already provided. When I arrived, Will also scanned my driver's license. After reviewing my situation, they scheduled another appointment for 6:00 PM and charged me a fee. They even suggested I have dinner nearby while waiting. Then, at 5:30 PM, a female receptionist called to inform me that they needed to cancel my appointment because Dr. Yoon was unavailable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic. They seem unprofessional, collect excessive personal information, and provide no actual service. Don’t waste your time or money on this clinic — they are unorganized and unreliable.

Even before I came in, one of the receptionists, Will, was very reassuring when I was flip-flopping on booking the appointment. He took the time to ask about my worries and what he could do to help. I'm glad I booked though! I left this place much more informed about my dental health than before. Claudia, my dental hygienist, was very detailed and considerate, especially since I was a little nervous about my dental appointment. She went through some of my scans and images with me and explained some concerns about my teeth. Dr. Yoon, my dentist, was very knowledgeable and reviewed the scans and images again, providing even more detail about the next steps I should take. I found great value in the thorough care and information I received, worth giving a visit!

My girlfriend has a problem with her jaw so we got a same day appointment booked with them about 3 hours before the scheduled appointment. We both took off work early and made arrangements for her to be there, and then 10 minutes before the appointment they cancelled on us with no reasoning. We were 2 minutes away from the location when we got a call that is was cancelled and no proper explanation why. Completely unprofessional and I will never come here or recommend anyone come here in the future.

I had a very good experience at Markham dental. Doctor Yoon did a complete health check-up of my teeth and fixed every teeth that required attention. I also got a new crown replacement here. Few months back it came off and I got a another crown replaced at no additional cost! Overall positive experience. Highly recommend the clinic and Dr Yoon!
