I don’t leave reviews often but I want to let everyone know how incredible Dr Smith and his entire staff is. His super friendly receptionist Rachel reached out to me several years ago when I posted about having a horrible experience at one of those corporate dentists and said I should give their office a try. I felt welcomed and comfortable from the first visit and it feels like I’m visiting family every time I go back. Sounds funny saying that about a dentist but that’s truly how they treat you. Sierra one of their hygienists is one of the most kind people I have ever met. She makes you feel at ease and the time always passes quickly when you’re in her care. I’ve had multiple procedures performed and the pricing was always explained to me and comparable to other dentists. I also like that I’m supporting a local dentist and not some corporation. They just remodeled and expanded their office and it’s truly top notch and he even included massage chairs…it makes you want to go to the dentist!! I highly recommend Dr Smith for all ages!

My wife recently had some dental work done by Dr. Michael Smith, DDS, and we were quite satisfied with the quality of his work. However, the way his practice is managed is another story. Despite having dental insurance, we were required to pay upfront for the initial visit, with the understanding that we would be reimbursed after the insurance company paid them. Being in our 60s and 70s, and having seen multiple dentists over the years, this was a first for us. On the day of my wife’s procedure, I planned to run an errand while waiting, as the procedure was going to take a few hours. But before I could leave, I was asked to pay $500 upfront. She needed more dental work scheduled for a future visit, costing an additional $4,000. After considering the cost, I decided to shop around and found another highly-rated dentist in Edmond who quoted $1,500 less. When the new dentist requested Dr. Smith’s office send over my wife’s X-rays to avoid repeating them, I contacted Dr. Smith’s office and spoke with Rachel. She informed me that they wouldn’t release the X-rays until the remaining balance was paid. I was surprised, as I was never made aware of any outstanding balance, nor had I received a bill. Perhaps their past experiences have led them to be overly cautious with payments, but in doing so, they’ve lost a good-paying customer and earned a negative review.

I have gone to Dr. Smith for over 10 years. Well, I still get nervous going to the dentist. He does a great job of checking in with his patients and it’s virtually pain free. I would recommend Dr. Smith and his staff to anyone

I have had a fear of dentists since I was in middle school and had braces. In the last 10 years, I have been to a dentist maybe 4 times, varying across the Okc area. I am now 23 and I recently had a filling break, and both my parents see Dr. Smith. I was scared going in for the cleaning and the repair, but everyone in the office made me feel very comfortable. Cierra did a great job of listening to me and making me feel comfortable and heard. Dr. Smith did a great job at repairing my tooth and continuously checked in on me. I love everyone in the office and now I look forward to going back!

I love Dr Smith and his crew! Dr Smith doesn’t beat around the bush, thinks up a game plan for care in almost lightning speed too. His daughter Rachel runs the front desk and she’s always so nice to talk to and always has the answers! I forget her name but the dental hygienist is so so funny and makes the visits real fun! Sabrina his dental assistant is also the coolest lady i think i’ve ever met and is always so stylish!!

Although teeth cleaning is at the bottom of the list that I look forward to, Dr. Smith, his office staff, and office in general are great. There was no wait, the service was quick and efficient, and the staff, including Dr. Smith were so cordial. I even got a Christmas Cactus, which was a bonus!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this practice! From the warmth and courtesy when walking in the clinic, to the precious hygienist Cierra who immediately addressed all my concerns and put me at ease, to Dr Smith who was so very kind and personable and so thorough and comforting. I’m so thankful I was led to Dr Smith and his staff.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Smith takes his time to explain your treatment and the importance of having certain procedures done. Great experience.
