Dr. Nick and his team are great! We brought my father in law for a long overdue appointment. The team took care to understand his needs, did a pain free cleaning and put together a comprehensive plan for dental care for his new dentist. I’m so glad we were able to get an appointment (less than a week’s notice) and get in for these cleanings. I always appreciate the team, especially David, who was my hygienist for my appointment. Thank you all for the hard work, we appreciate it so much!

We arrived in NYC with an unexpected dental issue for my daughter. Lux Smiles was great. They were able to see her within two days. The staff, assistant and dentist were both friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Nicole Khalife and the entire staff are warm and friendly. I had a very thorough exam and cleaning. When it was over, Dr. Khalife reviewed my x-rays and scans with me and explained any possible issues and remedies going forward. She is a skillful, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. I definitely recommend her!

The first time I visited Lux Smiles, I had a good impression. But over time, this company tried to take advantage of my finances. I first visited Lux Smiles on August 30, 2023, because it was close to home. The first impression was good. My dental insurance paid $81. My second visit was March 11, 2024, and the insurance only paid $26. A few months later, in June, I was sent a charge to my place, that I had to pay $250. My last visit was September 11, 2024. I was examined and X-rayed, and finally I had to pay $190, a debt that I had not paid yet. I was suggested to consult with a periodontist on Monday, September 16 at 3:30. I agreed, as long as there was no charge. They said the consultation was free. But when I was examined, I was x-rayed again. I immediately warned that I did not want to pay again, because I had no money. The periodontist suggested that I have laser gum treatment. Then I was shown the price list by an officer, which totaled over $14,000. I was asked to sign the form, on the grounds that there was no commitment from me. But I read the form carefully. There was an Acknowledgment, and two signature forms, one for me and one for the company. In one point I agreed if later the treatment was scheduled by the company. So, it was a treatment agreement letter, not a treatment price offer. I refused to sign. The staff tried to convince me, she didn't want to be blamed if later there was a complaint from me that I had not been shown the options. This was a lie. How could I complain about something I had no commitment to pay for? On the other hand, if I signed the patient form, and then the company officer signed on the other side, then they would easily force me for the pricy treatment, because I had signed the agreement letter. Today I looked back at the insurance claim, and there was my bill for September 11, 2024, for $423. The bill for September 16th with the periodontist has not been issued yet, but it could be very expensive. I complained to the staff about the high price, and she said that I probably wouldn't get such detailed care anywhere else. But I was never offered X-rays and a consultation with the doctor which were also included in the bill. It turns out that insurance only covers a little of it. Because of this lack of transparency, I will not be going there again. I will move on to another dental care that is more transparent about billing. Do I recommend this place? It's up to you, but I will stop going there.

If you’re looking for a dentist who makes you feel like a VIP while you’re drooling in a chair, Lux Smiles is the place to go! From their high-tech gadgets to their soothing explanations, they turn a trip to the dentist into a mini spa day for your teeth. Seriously, they’re the best and totally a keeper. Never thought I’d say this, but I actually look forward to my next appointment!

I hate the dentist. I’ve always hated the dentist. However, I had the best experience. The staff were lovely - down to the ladies at the front desk, to the dentist herself. Everyone was super sweet, gentle, made sure I wasnt Uncomfortable and very informative. Would recommend:)
