If you are in need of an excellent Orthodontist, Dr. Lucas is second to none. His knowledge is so advanced, Dr. Lucas educates future Orthodontists at the University level. I was a patient of Dr. Lucas' in the 90's and when it was time for my son to get braces, it was an easy choice. My son's condition was a severe case. Dr. Lucas transformed my son's underbite and teeth and now he looks amazing - we couldn't be more thrilled. Dr. Lucas is a compassionate, honest and collaborative professional who takes the time to work with his patients. If I could give Dr. Lucas and his team 10 stars, I would.

Dr Lucas and his team gave me a great smile ! As an adult, I was never pleased with my teeth and decided to have the orthodontic work done in my 60s. I can’t tell you how skillful and wonderfully patient the entire team has been. I received A+ treatment. Thank you all!

I don’t really even know where to begin. During COVID, I decided that it was time to look into correcting my open bite. I knew that it would be an incredibly long and painful process and involve many doctors to fix the problem. Orthodontics was only one piece of the puzzle and Dr. Lucas and his incredible staff were not only up to the task but gave me the confidence that it was going to work and it was going to change my life! I was scared, excited, nervous but for the the first time hopeful that I could finally have the smile I had always dreamed of! After almost 2 years of monthly visits, a corrective surgery and lots of back and forth from my home in VA, I have finally gotten the impossible….a perfect smile all because of the incredible care, patience and encouragement of Dr. Lucas and his “team”! I don’t know that thank you even begins to express how I feel toward what they did for me but I will start with that from the bottom of my heart….thank you!

I am unhappy about the billing department and the office manager refusal to talk to me about mistakes on the contract (they charge 5% if you use credit card/debit/hsa, even though it says 3% on the contract, they give you 3% discount if paid in full cash! ) refused to honor the 10% discount that was on the contract for the second phase without any explanation. The doctor exhibits great knowledge and is always available to answer questions so I would give him a 4-5 stars.

As an adult who had to get braces for the second time in my life after having them the first time around when I was younger, I was nervous about going through the whole process again. Turns out I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Dr. Lucas and his team are kind, great at what they do, and just flat out amazing people! I highly recommend Dr. Lucas to anyone and everyone!
