Lollipop Dental - Placentia

I haven’t even started my son’s ortho treatment at Lollipop Dental, and I already regret ever stepping foot in this place. Where do I even begin? The first visit seemed fine at first, but just a few days later, my son developed a terrible case of strep throat, which escalated into scarlet fever. It was horrifying—he was sick for almost two months with rashes all over his body and peeling skin. I’m convinced he caught it at Lollipop Dental. Do they even sanitize their equipment and waiting area properly? It’s disgusting and unacceptable. After this experience, I was done with them. But my girlfriend insisted we give them another chance for ortho treatment, so I reluctantly agreed. Huge mistake. Fast forward to Christmas week: they scheduled my son for a panoramic X-ray. My girlfriend rearranged her work schedule to make this happen, and everything seemed to go smoothly—until we were halfway home and got a call saying their X-ray machine had malfunctioned and the images didn’t come out. They asked us to come back the same day for a retake. Fine, mistakes happen. But then, after driving all the way back and going through the process again, they told us their X-ray machine was down and we’d need to return for yet another appointment. Are you kidding me? I was livid. How unprofessional can you be? Now, today, I’m sitting at their Placentia office, writing this review as I wait—yet again. I arrived an hour early due to heavy traffic near Cal State Fullerton and notified the receptionist in case they could see us earlier. Instead of any acknowledgment, she just told me to sit down. Forty-five minutes later, I’m still sitting here waiting to be called. This place is a joke when it comes to customer service. They’re lucky to have gotten $400 from me for the X-rays, but that’s all they’ll ever get. To the receptionist who ignored me: congratulations, you just cost your company $6,000 in lost business. If you value your time, your money, and your family’s health, stay far away from Lollipop Dental. Worst experience ever.

I love the convenience of working in the same building as Lollipop Dental. It makes coordinating my son’s appointments with ease. They’ve expanded and the “new” side looks awesome. Everyone is very welcoming and the dentists are also warm and down to earth. Love being apart of their group.

Every time we come to the orthodontics sector Dr. Albert and Lucy have been always been spectacular. Both Dr. Albert and Lucy make my 7 year old daughter excited to come. They give her a sense that everything will be okay. Lucy constantly checks on my daughter to make sure scans are going okay as well as pictures. Dr. Albert and Lucy thank you so much for being AWESOME!!!!!

This has been our spot for dental work. Amazing staff, dentists and experience. They are super friendly, honest, professional and knowledgeable. They are well experienced especially with kids with special needs. I highly recommend them especially if your kids didn't jave a good dental experience at any place. This is the right place!! They give coloring pages and prizes. They definitely make our kids excited prior and after each visit. I want to gove a special recognition to: ALICIA, LUZ, and DR JUDY.
