5* for Dr. Lloyd for my first visits, getting me taken care of, and established. 5* for Dr. Whalen for my recent visit, for being so patient and amazing with my root canal and my "nerve" issue. Highly recommend this office for any and all your dental care needs.Very friendly, very professional, and always with a smile!

Dennis Lloyd is an amazing dentist along with his hygienist but unfortunately he plans to retire soon. I will go to him until retirement. My father goes to Dr. Lee who is also supposed to be very good. Dr. Lee is new and will be there a while. UNFORTUNATELY they do have Dr. Proctor. I had him last time because Dr. Lloyd does not do Thursdays anymore. I did NOT like him and I believe he recommended WAY too much work that was not even necessary for my husband and I. I noticed his very flashy style and since they get paid from work we get done I'm not surprised he told us to get so much work done. I am going back for a second opinion from Lloyd before I trust what Dr. Proctor told us to get done. My hygienist has told me for years now how good my home care is and I floss daily, mouthwash and brush. Though I do not use fluoride. There is enough in our water system here in AZ so putting it in my toothpaste seems unneccessary. I've done a lot of research on fluoride and animal testing and choose to no use certain products. He tried to impress me with his Bachelors or Masters in Public Health and Dental School but I was not impressed when he told me that by putting topical fluoride on my teeth for the night it will not be ingested. Uh, no. Is he forgetting about swallowing saliva? & tongue and cheeks that can absorb chemicals into my bloodstream? He looked over my teeth and saw that one tooth ( a tooth I told Lloyd about at my last visit) that was about to lose enamel but not quite. Then told me I needed to get in for a filling. Are you kidding me? A tooth that is not bothering me nor all the way through yet you want me to shave down and have filled? No! Also, my husband did not go to the dentist while young so Lloyd had concerns about 3 teeth but only 1 he wanted to really watch and fill. Dr. Proctor scheduled him to fill 6 teeth!! Proctor also wanted to percrible me prescription toothpaste, I said no. What he wanted to give me tests on animals (I'm not a crazy person who won't take meds tested on animals if necessary for my heath but in this case I am a healthy 23 year old with nice clean teeth and the prescription toothpaste was unnecessary) he laughed and blew me off. Still tried to prescribe it and when he left I had the hygienist put it back. I also did not like the way he talked to me. It seemed he thought I was inferior to him. Anyways, Dr. Lee and Dr. Lloyd are definitely worth the visit. If you have to schedule with Dr. Proctor, DO NOT DO IT.
