Great job on the guy’s teeth on Nectar on YouTube, smile addition. He had a mountain biking accident in 10th grade. Smile looks great!

I do not recommend Scott Lingle. I had four implants with him. At the first implant surgery, I was asking questions initially about the process and he told me to stop asking questions as it was distracting him and seemed frustrated with me. Yet he didn't explain to me what he was doing either and I found that unnerving not to know what was happening as he went along. I found him non-responsive regarding some of the serious physical issues and infections I faced as a result of the surgery and ensuing infection. I experienced unbearable pain on the lower left implant post, and I believe the post he installed hit my trigeminal nerve, which is deep in the gum. When I came in the office for him to see what was going on, and I was showing him where the pain was, he spoke with exasperation to me -- you keep changing what you're saying -- as if I were making it up. The thing about trigeminal pain is that it moves along the nerve. And this was moving all along the lower left side of my face, which is why I kept “changing” where it was. That post literally ejected itself from my lower left side where it had been installed – all by itself. Because I had broken a crown just a few days prior to our work together, and he was already about to work in that area of my mouth, I figured it might be easier to have him do a temporary crown rather than wait to get into my regular dentist. He took the old crown off and replaced that crown with one that didn't quite cover the nerve -- but I didn't know that until the novacaine or anesthetic wore off. So then I had the nerve pain from that crown, plus the trigeminal pain on the left side, plus the out of control swelling on the roof and the floor of my mouth on the right side. Plus I had bleeding from my nose consistently. Due to these troubles, I naturally reached out to him. He did not appear to care that I was in tremendous pain, that there was infection making me ill, and he was not effective at returning my phone calls. I did need an expert that I could count on who would return phone calls, explain more about what he knew about what I was experiencing and whether there was anything else we could do to eliminate infection and alleviate the pain, if we needed to take an implant out, etc. And I also needed reassurance. He began responding in a more timely manner after I started emailing leaving an electronic record, with my concerns. Another troubling area was his manner: he called me a toothless wonder a number of times during one of our times together. I was so surprised at his calling me this name that I didn't say anything till the next time I saw him. Then I politely asked him to please avoid calling me the toothless wonder. He spoke to me in the type of voice some adults reserve for children, which made clear that he was not seeing me at all. I made the decision to not go into his office without having a patient advocate (friend) with me, and that helped. Because i had bleeding from the implant where the pain was so deep, he gave me a medicine that I was to put on my gums. He didn't tell me that the medicine would literally eat the gums, but it did. The next day after putting this goo on the trigeminal post issue, my gums in this area looked like i had a chemical burn and I lost a lot of gum on the lower left side due to the medicine that has never grown back. When I looked into the medicine he gave me, I do not believe that that medicine he gave was necessarily indicated for what was going on for me. I was sick for months afterward after his work. I would not recommend him to anyone after what I experienced. May no one else experience what I did with his implant work, his lack of responsiveness, or his manner.

I had a mouth injury that no one knew how to fix. Within 10 minutes of examining me, the Dentists figured out what was wrong. I was so thrilled and I highly recommend.
