Jeez, Dr. Lee, what a tale your former patients tell. Is it a fact you own five Western Dental office sites? If so, have you ever toured your holdings, observed how well the front desk is run, how the front lobby appears at first sight, the level of professional behavior exhibited by the office staff as well as the dentist(s). Do you pay your staff a decent salary and have all safety precautions been met to protect the workers as well as the patients? Now, none of these queries may apply to you whatsoever, but the nature of your former patients' remains.

I used to go to this woman as a child. I hated her. I randomly thought of her and decided to Google reviews on her and was NOT surprised to see all 1-star ratings and bad reviews. The only good thing I remember about visiting her was she always had Highlights magazines for kids in her waiting room. Dang, so she's really out here still terrorizing people. I don't remember ever having any bad dental work from her but I do remember her attitude and never left without shedding a tear or two.

She is not only rude, but is not prompt and often canceled our appointments because she was to be absent or tardy for our appointments. I waited nearly 2 hours for my assigned time, only to leave because she took the time to see me. And she is ruthless to her staff. Never again. I know of others who've left her service because of her my experience.

Horrible. She is absolutely RUDE to her patients and her staff. Isn't clear about procedures and then back tracks on what is initially said. Charges way too much for very little. Be prepared to wait for at least 5 hours for a simple cleaning even if you're the only patient in there.

i wish i could rate her a big fat ZERO. this woman is terrible. her receptionist was rude to my partner who was scheduling an emergency appt for me because i have an abscessed tooth and i was in pain and couldn't do it for myself. she kept asking him why i couldn't call for myself, even after her explained why. because i was desperate for help, i went anyway and when i got there, they were so rude in person too. berating me in front of other patients for "not taking care of this sooner" and making a joke of my situation. when i was called back, she kept telling me how stupid i was for not handling this sooner. my face was swollen and in pain and she took the most painful xrays, completely disregarding my physical state, shoving the very sharp and rigid mouth pieces in and having no sympathy or patience when i couldn't sit my jaw straight (bc my face is swollen) . THEN without even telling me what was going to happen, she gave me a script for amoxicillin and sent me on my way to return in 9 days. well the antibiotic wasn't strong enough and she would have known that had she actually examined me. i ended up at the ER two days later, my face swollen 3 times the size it was the day of my appt with her and sobbing in pain. the ER doctors (who admittedly were not trained dentists) couldn't believe the state she let me leave her office in. they prescribed the most effective antibiotic (instead of the easiest one) and gave me some advice. "Either go back to that dentist and make sure she does what YOU need done instead of what is convenient for her, or find a new place to address your issue bc this isn't the kind of care you should be getting from a licensed dentist." Well then i came back and read some reviews on Emily Lee "DDS" and wow. she is a total monster. elderly abuse and a standard of care that is so low that even "rude" is a nice way of putting it. if you have Medi-cal: DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT REAL HELP. go to USC or UCLA's dental program. even students are better than this hack. I ended up finding a dentist in Pasadena, if you call around you can find a good one that accepts your insurance, it takes some time and effort. DO NOT come to this lady just bc it's cheap and seems easy. you'll either regret it and might even end up in the ER.
