Lake Forest Smiles

I wanted to share my story here because I feel it will help someone. In the past I have had some pretty awful dental experiences. The Novocain doesn’t work for me and I have a horrible gag reflex. This has prevented me from going to the dentist for 5 years. I made an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Hugh’s and she spent about an hour with me explaining how I would have a pain free experience. She preformed a quick exam and came up with a plan to fix my dental problems in one sitting. We decided on sedation. The day of my appointment I was relaxed. Dr. Hughs and her assistants (replaced an old filling, extracted a tooth, and put in a crown) in less than an hour! No pain! No stress! I HIGHLY recommend her and her team. I am no longer afraid, as long as it’s Dr. Hugh’s at the helm!

Lake Forest Smiles provides exceptional dental services. Thorough and careful in their approach. Always the best technology. They go as far as possible to provide patients with comfortable care. Sensitive to older patients’ needs. Our hygienist, Elizabeth, take extraordinary care of my wife’s special needs. A kinder, more professional hygienist does not exist. Obviously, we are big fans!

I’ve been a patient with this dental practice for many years and though things change and there are lots of new faces, one thing that has never changed is the quality of the care I receive. I never have to wait beyond my appointment time, the staff are always professional, friendly and efficient and the dental care and follow up care are top notch! Though they are not in my insurance network and I could go elsewhere for cheaper dental care, I will remain a patient with Lake Forest Smiles as long as they’ll have me.

Great and patient friendly service. Shannon and Dr. Hughes were very good to me by making me understand clearly what the options for treatment are and very open to questions. I recently changed to LF Smiles and to me it is a breath of fresh air (no pun intended).

I had an appointment with Dr. Schmidt at Lake Forest Smiles for a crown (part I). Dr. Schmidt was exceptionally personable and professional, as always. Cameron, the young lady who assisted Dr. Schmidt was also very pleasant and attentive, as she answered all of my questions; and I had a lot! I’ve had great experiences at Lake Forest Smiles over the years! Always well-taken care of. Big thank you to the team!
