I really appreciated his advice and ultimately a more conservative treatment plan in repairing my daughter’s chipped tooth. It has never looked better! His team is very professional, and he and his assistant were graciously willing to work into lunch to help us shoot the traffic gap to head out of the Bay Area for our nearly three-hour drive home. It was absolutely worth it!

Dr. Hovden is knowledgeable, trustworthy and an expert in his field! The best in the business! He has been my dentist for 23 years and now is seeing my teenage kids. He creates a pleasant environment and his office staff and hygienists are always so friendly. He pays exceptional attention to detail and is always sharing interesting information with me on how oral health links to overall well being. I always leave with a bit of new information about something from a book he's read or conference he attended. He invests in new, state of the art equipment, so I know my teeth are getting the best cleaning possible. He was a huge lifesaver when my 17 year old daughter took a yeti water bottle to the face and cracked her two front teeth in half. He reattached the teeth and her teeth look perfect, you can't tell anything happened. It was a very traumatic experience for our daughter, but we took comfort in the fact that we were in the best hands with Dr. Hovden.

Our family of three have been patients of Dr Hovden and his Father's original practice for 30+ years. We really appreciate the team's attention to detail, knowledge of the dental industry evolving treatments, patience and light touch, and concern for our oral health often tied to our overall well being. A few years back Dr Hovden was the first to observe early stages of Tardive Dyskinesia in my mother that allowed us to address the symptoms much earlier with positive results.
