Our family has been with Kahala Dentistry for 13 years. Dr. Ako is wonderful to work with. Best dental hygienists and a family atmosphere. Our 6 year old had to get 2 cavities filled and she said that there was zero pain. Come here for the best dental group on the island.

Dr. Austin Ako is a pioneer in dental technology! We recently had the privilege of hosting a continuing education event for dental professionals where he was a keynote speaker on guided dental implants. His knowledge and expertise are unparalleled as many of our colleagues were impressed with the level of care he provides for his patients. We highly recommend him and his practice for your oral health needs.

My dentist was too busy to finish my root canals. Said earliest they could see me was in June (2 months). They referred me to Kahala Modern Dentistry and Dr. Ako. They took me right away. Dr. Ako introduced himself and thoroughly explained the procedure and got to work. The results were amazing. I can chew my food with any food or pain in my teeth( molars). See for yourself.

This is the BEST dental practice I've ever been to. I was terrified of dentists, until I came here. Not only are they incredibly through, reasonable, and modernized.... but the staff is incredible. I love going to my dentist now. Highly recommended.
