I just want to start this review off with a positive note about especially after reading some of these other untruthful reviews about money and payments etc… 2 weeks ago I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Sheive who was absolutely professional and well experienced. His staff as well is very professional. I think people have a hard time with maybe “how direct” they are! But the are a private network that does work with Medicaid and they will let you know right up front how much you will be paying out of pocket. Yes, because they are a PRIVATE network catch that word that you will have to pay some out of pocket fees. So don’t expect free! Medicaid does not mean free!!!! Not here!!! And yes, it does take a few weeks for them to work with the insurance company to get you into their clinic, so have some patience! If you can’t wait and can’t pay…. Go else where! But I felt they were VERY professional and did an amazing job! I am having no issues again as it has been a couple weeks post surgery!! Thanks Joliet Oral Surgeons for relieving my pain!!

Like others have said 1 star is more then they deserve... I got my wisdom teeth pulled over 2 months ago. While I was there they acted like they did an X-ray (that I had to pay for out of pocket) because they said they never got the X-rays from my dentist who scheduled my appointment for me, whatever. But I have yet to see a claim through my insurance. I called a month ago they said they sent the claim to the wrong Delta Dental of Illinois and that is was sent off to the right one... Here we are another month out and still no claim. I'm beyond livid as I had to pay cash for the entire procedure. About 1000$ they said my insurance wouldn't cover. I pay cash for my insurance and find that hard to believe as well. So I will be calling every hour today until I get answers.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. First of all, getting in there to have it done at all took 6+months because they never answer their phone or call back after you leave a voicemail. Today is day 7 of recovery and my pain has gotten worse every day since the extraction. When I did manage to speak to them about some nerve damage that seems to have come up since the surgery they said it wouldn’t have been from anything they did and got defensive about it and said they can’t do anything to help me. I’ve been trying to contact them about the healing process and have not gotten a call back for like 4 days now. They sent my prescription to the pharmacy twice and I haven’t been able to talk to them to find out if I’m supposed to be taking the second script or if taking it will make things worse. The pharmacy said it doesn’t make sense that I would have a second round of the meds but they also haven’t been able to contact them. This place wants to get you in the door, get your money and then ignore you when things don’t go right. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have some lawsuits in their past and they probably have more coming in the future. I shouldn’t be having to go to the er to see if my wounds from surgery are healing correctly, I should be able to contact the people who did it but they’ve made it not possible to do so.

I went here and my surgery went well but I paid 1925.89 for my surgery. My patient responsibility was $999 and they said I would only be refunded $130. If anyone knows how to do basic math, they know thats not correct. They charged $200 for an unspecified procedure and put it under a code that is not normally covered by insurance and wouldn't tell me what that $200 charge was for. So since my insurance did not cover that $200 charge my patient responsibility is now $1199. So again still doesn't make sense why I would only get $130 back. When they were called out for this the woman on the phone who was supposedly the manager yelled at me. I calmly said "I just want my money back and this isn't making any sense im not trying to be difficult. If you spent this much money and you were told you weren't getting the full refund you'd be upset too". It's been 3 months since my surgery and haven't gotten any of my money back. My insurance said if they continue down this path we will work together to report them for fraud. I warn you all to stay away. Update: 6/18/23 they still haven't given a single penny back and I reported them to the BBB. Again stay away and do not give them your money.

If I could rate this place zero I would. The oral surgeon is a hack. He pulled a molar and cracked it leaving a root inside my gums. He either didn't bother to check that he got the whole tooth out or knew what happened and didn't care. When I called about a piece of tooth being left in my gums the staff person couldn't care less saying it would "probably" work its way out. Because it was the whole root, I had to go to another surgeon to have it removed. He couldn't believe that was left in my gums and said it would have eventually become infected.
