I went in with a visible cavity and pain and they said it was nothing, went in 3mo later and they said “its been there for at least 6mo”. Happened at least 3 times. I’ve been going since i was a kid because it took my dads insurance. I never liked the place. But what really sent me over the edge was last time I went in for my 6mo checkup and they didn't even have me in their system. I was fully done then.
I came here when I was a kid. Restarted coming here as an adult and always have exceptional care here. Honest and ethical billing practices. I was at another dentist before and my teeth were evaluated to be in poor condition to get a higher reimbursement from the insurance company. They wanted me to come in 5 times a year. I switch to Carpenters office and they said 3 times a year is all that's needed. Low prices and exceptional service. Highly recommend.
Dr.Clifford did a great job on the 2 crowns I needed: the dental hygienists there are wonderful too: they all put you at ease & make your visit to the dentist a very pleasant one. Can't remember when I've had so many laughs at the dentist! If you need dental treatment I would highly recommend this practice.
I LOVE this office. Our family has been going to M Street Dental for years. I am the daughter of a dentist but he died when I was 16. Anyway, the BEST hygenist is Rembie Kratti. She works part time on a regular schedule. I also like that they are always on time; you never have to wait.
If I could give less than a one star I would. Went there years ago, with tooth that was referred specifically for endodontist. Instead of taking me in as new patient, they nickeled & dimed my insurance by billing for problem tooth appts. After 5 appts they finally said “You should see the endodontist."They told me the tooth needed a root canal, even though it was calcified inside already & that's basically a mother nature's root canal. Just because the tooth was sensitive when they put ice, as all my teeth are sensitive to ice. They did the root canal, used latex gloves even though my chart said Highly allergic. I ended up with sinus perforation & then had the tooth pulled 3wks later because the ingredients in the root canal filling is made from latex & my mouth hurt so bad. My husband went at the end of the same year & was double charged for full x-rays. Mentioned this experience to a few ppl & they freaked out, saying they had gone to this dentist in the past & they were there worst dentist ever. One guy was getting over charged to have all his fillings removed & replaced, so he just asked to have them all pulled & went with full mouth dentures, at half the price of the filling replacement. To this day, I still have a sinus perforation that can't seem to be fixed, which has caused my gum to receed so much on the next tooth that a perfectly healthy tooth had to be extracted. I've had 5+ yrs of phantom tooth pain on the missing root canal tooth & had to get dentures for those missing teeth. All the problems started the minute I went to this office.
