Our family has been visiting Ivory Dental for 18 years, and we couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care we've received from Dr. Patel and her team. Dr. Patel's expertise and gentle approach have made a significant impact on our dental experiences over the years. My daughter has even said that if she moved to California, she would still come back to Dr. Patel for her dental visits! We highly recommend Ivory Dental to anyone looking for a dedicated and compassionate dental practice. Dr. Patel is, without a doubt, the absolute best! ***UNCOMPASSIONATE***COLD***UNCARING*** I have seen Dr. Patel at Ivory Dental for several years and she is a good dentist technically speaking in skill but a poor dentist when it comes to patient care. I recently had a crown fall off and went in to get it replaced at an emergency appointment. When I went in to see Dr. Patel, she refused to cement it back on. I pleaded with her, with the understanding that it would only be temporary and I would return in a week to undergo whatever needed to be done and she still refused. After leaving her office I went straight to a different dentist who saw no issue in reattaching the crown with the understanding that it would only be temporary. Dr. Patel, you need to learn that patient mental health is just important as dental health and that forcing a patient to go without a tooth can cause much unneeded stress in their lives. I even told you that I had a lot going on (existing stress) and that this displaced crown was just something I could not deal with immediately but would gladly take care of in a week or two. You told me that cementing it on would be "unethical". I am leaving your office for a dentist that is kind and understands that treating the patient means treating the WHOLE patent and not just their dental health. Dr. Patel you were cold, uncompassionate and very uncaring to my situation and you seem to care about profit over care in my opinion. Therefore, I cannot in good faith recommend you to anyone. My new dentist completely understood my concerns and cemented the crown back on, alleviating my stress level. They completely care for the patient in whole and not just the tooth. I will be following-up with my new kind, caring, warmhearted dentist in a week for the crown replacement process.

The front desk secretary on Saturday morning is extremely rude, and treated us very poorly. She claimed they don't do any emergency cases (which just isn't true) and when we asked if they could fit us in, she didn't even inquire with anyone else. When we asked if she could recommend another place she just looked down and said no. Would not recommend this business.

Great staff… professional and friendly, obviously knows what they’re doing. Looking forward to my next visit I’ve been going to them for years, I’ve never been disappointed. I would highly recommend anybody to go see them, and actually I have already.

Went in to the Plainfield Ivory Dental as a new patient. I was having an issue with a bad tooth. They were able to get me an appointment quickly and kept in touch thru text messages before my appointment. Went in on a Thurs morning at 9am. They took x-rays and a dentist came in to see me. She said I needed to have the tooth pulled but the dentist that pulls teeth is not there till later in the day, and when that dentist came in they would review my info and determine if they can pull the tooth or have to refer me to an orthodontist. They said I would receive a call later that day or if it was a referral out I would receive an email. Two weeks later I still have not received a phone call or an email. I guess they do not follow up. I will not be returning to this Dental place.
