Hollywood Children's Dentistry

My 10yo who has previously been really anxious at dental appointments loves HCD! After the most recent check up and cleaning, he said it was the "best ever". The movies in the lobby certainly help but it is really the patient, understanding staff of hygienist and the Dentists who make the whole process "almost fun".

My kids have been going to this office for 10 years and have always appreciated the staff nd care they receive. Recently, my work made some background changes (discovered at a routine apt.) to our dental insurance which don't align with insurance accepted by Dr. Sheena. In the moment, I thought I would be stuck with a huge bill, but Dr. Sheena reached out to me personally to find a plan that will keep us going to her office (super important for my kiddos) while ensuring that I was not hit with a crazy expense. So appreciated the time and attention she took to support my family.

Literally THE best pediatric dentist in all of Portland. My kid can’t wait to come back. Dr. Bramley and the team were so pleasant and compassionate while making the whole visit fun. The whole appointment was actually very fast but also extremely thorough. If you are looking for a pediatric clinic for your kids look no further than HCD!

This dentist was great when I was younger before the new dentists took over, but it's disappointing how much it’s gone downhill. In the last couple of appointments I had there, they kept trying to pressure me to stay despite the fact that I was turning 18, saying they could still treat me as an adult even though I felt the care they had wasn’t appropriate for me anymore and they tended not to listen to what I had to say. They also refused to reapply a sealant the old dentist had previously put on my misshapen teeth after I got my braces off, which led to a cavity that I warned them would happen. They don’t have very good communication skills and make many things more complicated than need be, if I was having trouble being listened to as an adult I can’t imagine how frustrating that can be for a kid. They never even got around to sending my medical records to my new dentist! This never would have happened with the old owners who made a priority of listening to the patients and their parents. I hope this place gets better again for the sake of the kids.

Dr Sheena!! We’ve been seeing her for 5+ years and appreciate her kind, compassionate nature. The medical staff are wonderful with children from cleanings to extractions. Great practice!!
