Holladay Hills Dental

I am in search for a new dentist. So, I thought I’d try this office. I will say this, I really liked the Dentist and Dental assistant. They were really good at their jobs. BUT, I felt the office area, like the waiting room, was a little dirty. There were spider webs in the corners and I saw one spider there, as well. The waiting area could use a pick me up. The receptionist was really nice, as well. My only problem I had with this office was how they billed you. I understand that they are trying to get more clients, but I don’t have insurance and paid for my appointment out of pocket…. That one appointment cost more than joining their dental plan. That just confused me. So, I felt like they overcharged me for my visit to try and force me to do the dental plan. I didn’t like that. The pricing is weird. I would have been more inclined to join the dental plan if the pricing wasn’t off. Basically, paying for one check up is 100 dollars more than paying for two check ups. That’s confusing. Why is it more money for one checkup than two check ups. If for instance the pricing was $250 dollars for one check up and only $100 dollars more to join the dental plan, I actually would of considered joining, but after the weird price discrepancy I felt like they weren’t being fair on the prices they charge clients. I don’t know if I will be back because of that.

When I walked in and casually announced I was looking for a new dentist. I was pleasantly greeted and welcomed. I explained I had switched dental insurance and wanted to make sure they accepted my new insurance. They did. So, I scheduled my first appointment to have a tooth checked out and they even worked in my first cleaning and checkup. I enjoyed the entire team. They were very friendly. I went ahead and booked my next appointment for a six month check-up. I left with a clean feeling mouth and the tooth I had checked was OK. You can't beat that for an initial experience.

Lauren was AMAZING! She was so kind, helpful and explained each process as she was doing it! My cleaning was such a smooth process and Lauren helped ease all of my dental anxiety! Chelsea was quick to get me in and so friendly during the entire process as well! I am so happy to have found Holladay Hills!

Excellent Dental experience! Lauren (the hygienist) was incredible. She did a full intake interview about my case. They spent so much time with me. Dr Skinner is so patient and knowledgeable. He gave me a plan with three options and referred me to a periodontist for a consultation. If you've had a bad experience in the past, I'd give Holiday Hills another chance.

I’ve had terrible luck finding a good dentist in SLC. Since moving here in 2009, this is the first office I’ve gone to for more than 2 visits. Dr Nguyen and her entire staff are amazing. My family and I have been going to this office for years now and will continue as patients for many years to come. 10/10 Recommend

I've been going to Holladay Hills Dental for over 20 years. They've been great. I now drive nearly an hour to see them. Recently, I had my teeth cleaned by Dorothy, a new hygienist to the practice. She did an excellent job and was pleasant to work with. Dr Nguyen is also warm, friendly, and focused on making sure one feels good about the work done. I appreciate Lisa and the rest of the staff's efforts in ensuring a great experience. I cannot recommend them enough.
