I initially came into Highland Park Periodontics feeling very nervous, as I knew I had something in my mouth that needed to be removed. I was previously told information at another office that made me feel highly anxious and confused, and came to Highland Park Periodontics for a second opinion. Then came along Dr. Molly Oster, who made me feel calm, confident, and at ease from the moment I met her. Her communication was clear, straight-forward, and she brought everything to my level so I could understand. I couldn't have trusted her more to be the person to remove what I needed handled, and felt so relaxed and assured in her care. Not only did I feel those things, but I also weirdly had so much fun with her when I went in for each of my appointments and follow-ups. She did an absolutely stellar job, and turned my experience a complete 360 from when I first entered her office! Truly, thank you Dr. Molly!

I have been a patient of Dr. Molly Oster and Highland Park Periodontics since mid-2022 to address a gum recession. From the first appointment, Dr. Oster explained to me her approach to periodontics and emphasized ongoing thought and care in managing periodontal health, not just charging into surgery if there are alternatives. I recently had the necessary gum graft, and I don't think that it could have gone any better. At every step of the way, Dr. Oster explained to me the how and the why - how we assess the recession, why we need to treat the issue, and reasonable expectations for outcomes. I particularly appreciate Dr. Oster's ability to explain things to me in a way that I understand, from the things she is considering before operating, the steps she is taking in the surgery, and through after care and follow up (even checking in on me after I got home!). Dr. Egan and Dr. Oster are excellent. I’ve had several procedures at their practice and have never been disappointed. The support staff are equally excellent in their professionalism towards patient comfort and education. If you need periodontal care, this is the place to go.
