Hi 5 Dental Dentistry for Kids & Orthodontics!

We took our 6 y/o daughter for General Anesthesia this morning and it really couldn't have gone any smoother. We went to the Beaverton location and saw Dr. Jessica Irwin. She's an extremely competent Dr. and has great bedside manner. We were scheduled so promptly that our old office hadn't even had time to send over her tx plan but Dr. Irwin and Dr. Yarboroughs tx plans matched almost exactly which put me at ease because I then knew for sure that we were in good hands. Our anesthesiologist was Dr. Eric Kim. They were both great! Dr. Kim entertains them with bubbles and makes it less scary for nervous kiddos. We were referred from our regular dentist because they have much shorter wait at times at Hi5 and she wanted us seen sooner than later. They got us in for the initial exam immediately and we had her surgery scheduled for the next week. The front dealt with all the medical and dental insuraunce billing things which took some stress off us and let us focus on our daughter which meant a lot to us! Our recovery assistant Jane was great as well! Obviously putting your child under general anesthesia for anything can be nerve-wracking in itself ; but they really made the whole process as stress free as it could possibly be! Excellent team they have here; highly recommend for your child's dental needs!

It’s not often I feel compelled to leave a review, but Dr. Jenette Intrachat is exceptional. She is a kind and caring person who cares deeply about her patients. Her knowledge and professionalism are matched only by her patience and warmth. I highly recommend Dr. Intrachat to anyone seeking pediatric dental care.

They are kind, easy, and fast. But they want to do as much intervention as possible- cavities, pull teeth. They do not give you any information or background so you can make an informed decision. They don’t really talk or discuss plan of actions to you at all including Dr Jenette. Poor consultation and bedside manners. We moved out because after a year and removing 4 teeth, and they wanted to take out more including adult teeth, I left to get a 2nd opinion and we liked the other dentists way more and they were way more personable. I have no trust in the dentists at hi 5.

The worst experience of my life don’t take your children here for any kind of extraction. ( didn’t see dr Pham) ended up calling an ambulance my son was puking blood and wouldn’t wake up it was over an hour long, we got to the hospital and they told me he was heavily sedated and asked me if they even ran a blood pressure cuff on him or anything and they don’t have any of that equipment in office, just a little clamp on the finger. The anesthesiologist was the worst! He told me that my son was fine when he wasn’t he cried for over 2 hours not knowing what was going on or fully waking up, and puking blood. I should’ve never of experienced such trauma! Save yourself and your kids from going here!! I had a bad vibe when they told me I couldn’t be in the room also! There was no empathy the anesthesiologist was rude to me, my son was laying flat on his back when he starting to puke I had to grab him and put him on his side. we were in the hospital until 1am, they had to push fluids through and IV because of how heavily sedated he was and his little body couldn’t handle it finally after 5 hours or so my baby woke up in the hospital how scary right! Meanwhile the dental office was extremely rude and unconcerned and unprofessional during the whole thing! Didn’t even give me proper instructions to go home with or an antibiotic for my sons abcess that they had pulled. His heart rate was in the high 170s at the hospital, another monitor they do not have, or have anyone who knows anything about health, ( I work in healthcare) I received 4-5 Text messages from the dental office around 7-9 pm at night.. how unprofessional!! Fentanyl and Ketamine!! This place should be shut down!! Shame on you M Bespaly you could've killed my son that day.

I'm so very happy to have made an appointment with High 5 Dentistry. I made an earlier review of a poor experience from another practice, but wanted to do a follow up of a great dentistry. Both of my kiddos needed some dental work done which required them to go under. Dr. Jenette and the anesthesiologists were absolutely fantastic. Dr. Jenette did the exams first for both my kiddos and made clear communication as to what needed to be done. Afterwards the anesthesiologists and Dr. Jenette called to check in to see how my kiddos were doing. What I like about this dentistry is that they were able to get us in a lot sooner then the other practice. Both offices are nice clean spaces and the staff and doctors are extremely friendly to parents and very friendly to children. Finding a dentist for your little ones can be extremely stressful . If you are searching I would highly recommend this place! Thank you Dr. Jenette and the staff.

Been going to Hi5 for over a decade with two kids. Have consistently had wonderful experiences. One of them just turned 18 so will no longer be going to Hi5. We hope her next dentist will be able to live up to the service and care Hi5 provided throughout her childhood.

First time taking my youngest son here after a referral, and i gotta tell ya, everyone here is super friendly and gental on the procedures. They really do cater to lil kids with everything they do! My son hates going to the dentist, but this place he loves it here , and u never hear it coming from any child! Even though we're from portland and have to make a 30-40minute drive to beaverton Office, depending on the traffic , I can gladly say this will be his primary,
