Karen, Mary, Dana and Dr. Herrick were nothing short of amazing on my most recent dental procedure. Every encounter with the staff is always professional, positive and encouraging. Dr. Herrick is always so patient when answering all of my questions and made me feel comfortable throughout my procedure. Thanks to all at Herrick Family Dental.

A little more than a year and a half of having braces with regular orthodontic care, faithfully paying all my deductibles and monthly payment plans on time, for fillings, cleanings and braces appointments, I came into the office to get my braces removed because I was moving out of state. I asked what the balance on my account was so I could pay everything, they said I owed a $899. I paid it. Had a $0 balance as of 8/31/2023. I was able to get my braces removed and collected my retainers and moved from Ohio to SC a few days later. Fast forward a WHOLE year and I get an email from a collections company saying I owed Herrick Dental $140.00. I had paid Herrick Dental over $5,000.00 for all the dental care I received from 2/25/2022 thru 8/31/2023. I called left a message, and texted the dental office asking how a whole year goes by and no one called or emailed me with any collection efforts... The response was that they mailed statements to the address on file. I had mail forwarding and NEVER received anything. Mind you, the whole year I have proof of solicitation emails, text reminders to come in for my overdue cleanings, even had a hygienist lady call me to try to get me scheduled for a cleaning, but NEVER any correspondence about a balance owed. ( Interesting how the collection company managed to email me though!!!) After paying them over $5100.00 they ruined my credit over $140.00. Something I could have paid over the phone with my debit or credit card at any time!!! Best part, no one can tell me what it was for and after requesting my ledger, that gives 0 details of what the charges are for, and was told I now need to contact the collections company only regarding this debt. I am very disappointed especially after a year and 8 months of regular weekly, biweekly and monthly visits, building rapport and even laughing and becoming acquainted with all the staff.. Very disappointed!

Love Kim, my dental hygienist. She is the sweetest & easy on my teeth for my cleanings. She makes coming to the dentist a great experience!

Dr K is a breath of fresh air. After many many dentists causing me to not want to go, he actually has made me excited for the process we will embark on. Made me confident that things will work out and my dental health will get better.

I used to love this office. The location was convenient, the staff was nice, and they always seemed to care more about their patients than my primary doctors office. I feel everything has been going down hill since covid. In the last 2 years , or so we have had them cancel and change appointment times without noticed, and have noticed many more little issues that were never problems before. This past visit the new dental tech stabbed into my mouth while attempting x-rays. I decided to write this review since its still hurting a week later with a painful caknersore.. She argued with me that i needed to bite down harder, which i physically couldnt do. She ran out of the room when I fliched and directly said "your hurting me" to her. A more senior tech came in and simply said "She's new", without even a simple apology. I don't care if you are new, you should not be causing harm during a simple mouth x-ray. If that tech is truly that new that she can't position the bite piece correctly, then wouldn't you think she should be directly supervised? I still find the actual dentists here to be great, but this might be my last visit.
