I had a deeply disappointing experience with Heritage Oral Surgery & Implant Center, one that I feel obligated to share so future patients can avoid similar issues. From the start, the staff was hostile, unwilling to provide clear information, and reluctant to support my needs as a patient—even though they’re technically in-network with my insurance. One critical issue was the limited options they offered for anesthesia. The staff and doctor only recommended general anesthesia for my cyst removal surgery, saying it would be "very painful" without it. No one informed me of the alternative to use in-office numbing, which would have been far less costly and invasive. After consulting with other practices, I discovered that mouth numbing (Local Anesthesia) to avoid any pain during surgery was indeed an option. I felt misled by Heritage, as they failed to present me with all available choices, which is an essential part of patient-centered care. The environment at Heritage was, unfortunately, hostile and uncomfortable. The poor customer service, dark atmosphere, and unhelpful attitude from the staff persisted throughout the entire process, from the consultation to the surgery scheduling. After multiple instances of threatening to cancel, they ultimately canceled my surgery without my acknowledgment or agreement. This surgery was scheduled for November 4, 2024, and was urgently recommended by Dr. Lang, who warned of the cyst potentially rupturing soon. Despite the urgency, their practice manager, Johana Azadian, took it upon herself to cancel my procedure less than five days before the scheduled date, leaving me in a risky medical position without a proper solution. Dr. Lang himself was professional, and I felt no discomfort with his care. However, the overall experience was made unbearable by the poor handling and negligence of his staff. Ultimately, Heritage failed to follow through on their responsibilities, leaving me with more anxiety and risk than when I first walked in. I would not recommend Heritage Oral Surgery & Implant Center to anyone and would strongly urge anyone to look elsewhere for oral care.

I didn't feel thing when Dr. Lang removed my molar and had minimal pain afterwards. The surgery was much faster than I had anticipated. I felt well taken care of.
