Henrickson "accepts children" insofar as they're happy to take money from you or your insurance provider when you bring your children in. But when you actually bring them in, their General Manager Crystal and Hygienist Jacqueline act like you're inconveniencing them. I experienced this several times with my daughter, including times when the visit went smoothly. In hindsight, there was a huge red flag the first time I brought my five-year-old into Henrickson. Before we were seen by the hygienist, I told my daughter I had to use the restroom and joked with Crystal that "I'll just leave her" in Crystal's office while I went. Crystal immediately said "Absolutely not." I brought my daughter in with me - which was of course the plan - but I was taken aback. The next visit, my daughter was unable to finish her routine cleaning. Jacqueline was visibly impatient and frustrated with her, making her anxiety worse throughout our time there. She doesn't have pressing dental issues, so I determined the best choice was to try again another day. I think most parent/guardians would've done the same in my situation, and I assumed Henrickson would be reasonable about it. A couple months later, we get a bill from Henrickson for $96 because Crystal coded the appointment as an "office visit for observation" (rather than a routine cleaning) and our dental insurance provider denied the claim. To be clear, Henrickson did complete part of the cleaning. There was no legal or ethical reason not to code it as a routine cleaning. When I called Crystal about this today, I assumed it was an honest mistake. She was immediately defensive and said 'this is how we code it" and "we don't know what is gonna get covered." Mind you, my family's plan is through Delta Dental, the largest dental insurance provider in the country. Basic dental plans like this are fairly boiler plate in terms of what they cover. Without knowing the exact details of the coverage, Crystal should know the way she coded it was less likely to be covered than a routine preventative visit. She refused to admit that she can or should know this. I don't know whether this was incompetence or stubbornness, but the result is the same. In the end, they lost four potential longtime customers because they were unable or unwilling to handle the infamously normal situation of a young child being nervous in the dentist's chair.

I've been going to Henrickson Dental for about a year. I was at a previous dentist who abruptly changed to only implants/crowns. Henrickson Dental has been wonderful since I switched. I have TMJ and they worked with me to get a mouth guard made. It was a slow process but we finally got one to fit perfectly and it has helped. The hygienist, Jackie, is fantastic. She is friendly, thorough and always happy to see you. The staff treats you as if they know you and care for you, not like a number like I've gotten in the past. I will continue to go to Henrickson Dental for many years!

I have been going to Hendrickson dental for a long time. Always friendly and professional service. Now my adult daughter goes there as well. If you need a new dentist give this place a visit.

I have had multiple crowns and several emergency visits over the years and I cannot recommend enough! Henrickson has the best team and technology to take care of me especially in crisis moments when you need help quickly. Love coming back even when I live far away.

They may have good dentists but personally I would not trust them as their incompetent staff has to be a reflection of their office. I called twice, got an answering machine "Can't take your call, etc. We will call back as soon as we can." I got nothing. Tried again some days later and was told this; "Our power is down, I will call back as soon as it is back up." 2 days later, nothing. I just checked, they were able to book next week so obviously the power is up - so, they either have terrible staff or just don't care for me as a new patient. I have never received that bad of front desk service - ever!
