Heart of Texas Dentistry

I’ve taken my daughter here several times and I have been here a couple times. I had pretty much settled to call them my family dental office and had no plans to go elsewhere as everything seemed to be going well. My daughter had to have some cavities filled (12 years old). I accompanied her because she was nervous. The dentist was very pleasant and playful with us. Even though it was an unpleasant event, it seemed to be a pleasant experience. The dentist was very playful and funny which helped put her at ease during the procedure. I was very pleased with the way the work went. At her next appointment, that’s when things got WEIRD. I went to walk back there with her and the nurse stopped me and told me I could no longer go back there with her. I was very shocked and I asked the nurse why and she told me that the dentist had just requested that no parents could come back with the kids anymore. The only reason that I did not walk out that day and go reschedule with another dental office was because we needed her teeth cleaned so that we could get her braces done the next day. I had been in several appointments with my daughter before and there had never been a problem, so I thought it was very odd that suddenly he wanted to see her alone and without me present. I am a very protective mom and I do not let anybody be alone with my daughter in a private setting that I don’t know personally even medical people. Despite this, I still recommended this office to my son, and he called to make an appointment. The front desk called him back and he said they were very rude to him. I am very disappointed because I had no plans to leave until these things began to happen. I would not recommend this office, and I am currently looking for another dentist for my family.

Really easy to give five stars ? ? ? ? ? Been a patient for over a decade. The staff are all fabulous and the facilities are always kept ultra clean. I trust the experience of Dr. Privett (? DDS for forty years?) and bedside manner makes it a pleasure each and every visit. I'm not giving a shout out to my hygienist because I'm selfishly keeping her availability for me ? but she knows how great she is!

Amazing work and fantastic staff. I absolutely hate going to the dentist but Doctor Privett makes it so easy and a lot less stressful and his staff is super friendly and helpful

One of the best dental providers I’ve seen. Dr. Privette and his staff are beyond exceptional. Dr. Privette explained every process of the procedure he did on me. Mark was extremely patient and did an amazing job with my 5 yr old. Robin has been extremely helpful with ins verification and quotes. I’m really impressed with everyone I’ve come in contact with. I highly recommend this office for any dental work

This dentist and office staff are the best! Not only have they taken care of me and my smile, but they have with my family too. We smile because of them. They listen and they care. If you have a concern they look at/into it. They have some new staff and they are rock stars! Kind and compassionate. One of the newest people there still goes above and beyond like she’s been there for years! That’s what this place is for their patients. Thank You!
