Customer Reviews
The office is so pleasant and relaxing. Dr. Hartman was great and CeCe was the sweetest young lady. Everyone made me feel so welcome and comfortable and I appreciate that since the dentist is not my favorite place.
I never knew I had anxiety until the day of my dental surgery. Walking into Hartmans Dental office I was immediately greeted by name from the front desk receptionist, Within two minutes another dental associate greeted me by name to walked into the surgery room. There smiles beautiful godly personalities Is the reason why they are a top tier dentistry! Doctor Hartman is an angel, nothing is greater then feeling safe durning care!
tl;dr The front desk staff is kind, but there is not great communication. I felt like my concerns were dismissed quickly and that I was being turfed because they ran out of time. I booked a new patient exam, but was not informed that I would not be able to have a cleaning done that day. Accidents happen/people are forgetful so that’s frustrating but fine. I had two rounds of radiographs done, intraoral full mouth and the panoramic. I’m not sure which one of those is classified as bite wing, but with my insurance I get two sets of the bite wing annually, but the other set is only covered once every three years. I had an extern who took my radiographs. Very kind woman, but it took quite some time to finish the pictures. Over an hour. But, that too is understandable and fine. But the overall reason I am not going back here is Dr. Hartman. I was less than impressed with his bedside manner. He was adamant that I had my wisdom teeth, as well as four other premolars, extracted. The wisdom teeth were the only ones ever extracted, I confirmed this after the appointment. Brushing off his surety about my medical history, I inquired about a mouth guard as I have been told by my fiance that I grind my teeth at night, my previous dentist who brought up that it looked like I grind or clench my jaw, and being personally aware that I clench my jaw throughout the day. He was outwardly resistant to my request, because he apparently doesn’t even talk with people about them until their teeth are so ground down “that they turn yellow”. He was way to caught up about my permanent retainer and switching that out for a plastic retainer. I know dentists don’t like the permanent retainer, I get it, and I was open to discussing that but it was lower on the list for me at that visit. I was open about that, which led to him trying to turf me to an orthodontist because apparently they won’t clean my teeth if I have a permanent retainer, because it’s “hard to clean”. Well, every dentist I’ve gone to the past 14 years has been successful cleaning around it, minus one hygienist that knocked it loose a few years ago, which they re-adhered for me. He struck me as the kind of man that has his way of doing things and if you roll along with it, that’s great, smooth sailing. But if you want to pursue another route or have a different order of importance for addressing your issues, he will quickly move on from you, or turf you to an orthodontist. Given how long this appointment was, I have a feeling I may have not had the cleaning and been referred to an orthodontist because they were behind on time. I would have also appreciated knowing that an extern was going to be taking my radiographs, or if I was asked if I was okay with that, since one of the sets I only get once every 3 years (found this out after the appointment). So now I’m frustrated that my radiographs and one of my comprehensive exams for the year(s) have been used up, I had no cleaning, and felt dismissed about concerns I am finally trying to get taken care of. I will say I also generally look for a dentist that will spend a little more time talking with me and simultaneously pointing out to me what they see on my radiographs, instead of quickly summarizing for half-hearted appointment record. Unimpressed to say the least.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. All procedures were explained to me and Dr. Hartman made sure I understood and agreed with my treatment plan.
Follow-up to adjust recent crown: was easy to set my appointment online for the next day. Dr Hartman and Brittany were wonderful, as usual.
I am extremely disappointed with this dental office. They canceled my emergency appointment just one hour before I was supposed to arrive and then offered a reschedule date nearly a week later. This is unacceptable, especially since they are so adamant about charging patients $50 for missed appointments. The hypocrisy is astounding—patients are penalized for cancellations, yet the office feels justified in canceling last-minute without any regard for the inconvenience or urgency of the situation. This experience has left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a patient. Emergencies require prompt attention, and this level of service is completely unprofessional. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this office to anyone seeking reliable care.

My favorite part about coming to get my cleanings is seeing dental hygienist: Andrea. She is such a personable, fun, corky, lady! Every time I come in I know it’s going to be a great experience and I’m going to leave laughing my butt off! I’ve been going to this dentist since they practically opened and Dr Hartman has always been a super nice guy Honestly couldn’t ask for a better dentist!! Absolutely love them and all of the staff But big big appreciation for Andrea I never dread going to the dentist. Andrea does a great job (leaving me feel like a different person, with clean teeth) she is so gentle and takes her time. Thanks for being so fantastic and leave me feeling like family
