I rarely write reviews, but I have to share my experience with Dr. Crook! It was my first time getting a root canal, and after a long break from dental visits, I was filled with fear. However, Dr. Crook made me feel so comfortable that by my second visit, I was surprisingly excited and even laughing throughout the procedure! He is incredible at what he does, somehow making a not-so-enjoyable experience better than I could have imagined. I even got to share a bit about my journey as a recent graduate during my appointment, and he took the time to listen and offer some really helpful advice that I won’t forget. He not only fixed my tooth pain but also helped me feel less anxious overall. The office staff was lovely too! I hope I don’t need another root canal, but if I do, I’ll definitely be coming back here. Thank you, Dr. Crook!

I had a root canal done here and everyone was so sweet. My wait time was about an hour, but they had good reading materials, and both the hygienist and the front desk felt bad about the wait. Which made the wait feel better. Dr. Crook was both friendly and professional, and did a great job. Nothing but pleasant experiences here!

To say that I was anxious about having a root canal was the understatement of the century. It’s even more disappointing when you initially had no pain whatsoever but after a tooth began to crack and a crown was recommended it all seemed to go downhill. That’s when Dr. Crook and his team stepped in. Not only are they all so very kind, but they genuinely listen and explain. They were able to get me in sooner than expected for the dreaded root canal and to be honest- it was one of the easiest dental experiences I’ve ever had. Dr. Crook has a wonderful demeanor and put me at ease. His assistant was the same way. I can truthfully say that I enjoyed that experience with them by my side. They helped ease my anxiety, made sure I was comfortable even providing a soft blanket to cover myself. The best part is my pain was gone immediately. I’d recommend this team to ANYONE. I believe this is my first Google review, but I felt compelled to write something. From start to finish my experience was excellent. I have been putting off this root canal for almost a year (against my dentist’s advice) and I finally had it done at Greater Portland Endodontics. Dr. Fackrell and his team were patient and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The procedure was quick and I was comfortable the entire time. I am posting this about twelve hours after my appointment and I have only taken 600 mg of Tylenol which was largely precautionary. If you are deciding to move forward with root canal therapy, look no further. Thanks to the team at Greater Portland Endodontics.

After having a bad experience with a prior root canal treatment at another facility, I was TERRIFIED of having to go through the procedure again. Greater Portland Endodontics really took care of me, making me feel relaxed through the whole process. They got me in for treatment very quickly and were very helpful in getting me the right oral sedative so that I could relax during my procedure. Dr. Fackrell and his assistant Tia were really kind. They walked me through each step of the procedure with empathy and answered all my questions thoroughly. They made having a root canal almost enjoyable. During my time with GPE, I also met with Dr. Crook, who was equally kind and knowledgeable.
