My worst dental appointment yet. This place is terrible for access to dental health and even worse on quality care. They won’t tell you up front about expected expenses even if you were referred. It should be illegal to force a health appointment without estimations of cost. What if I couldn’t afford whatever urgent dental care I needed on my appointment. People take time off of work or commute for health appointments and it’s disrespectful to not even offer alternative care places or affordable payment options. THIS PLACE DOES NOT EVEN VALIDATE PARKING. It goes to show you that the cooperation and people there don’t care about the patients they serve. When they took me back my doctor didn’t even have the decency to tell me her name or introduce herself. It made me sick to just watch this black woman just bob her head while I’m trying to tell her my health story. All she had to say in response was yea okay, and do you have a referral. None told me to bring a referral in the first place. Now you want proof of a referral just to offer a diagnosis. She had no apathy for me and my situation and couldn’t care less if I left feeling humiliated and without care. This place only sees you as a walking pocket book. All their health professionals need a lesson in cultural competency and a caring bone in their body

Front Desk the initial contact person, the receptionist “Tony” is very unprofessional and rude for no reason. Me and other patients have expressed our concerns to management on different occasions, however absolutely no change. Totally disregarding neglecting patient's concerns. “Tony” will retaliate inappropriately and will behave vindictively making it difficult for your visit which should offer patients comfort considering the circumstances. I make it to my Dentist appointment on time however because “Tony’s” indifferences she wanted me to reschedule and return next week, however, I was concerned with having my appointment considering I had been awaiting weeks with great anticipation of getting my teeth clean. We both agreed I speak with the provider. I awaited 2 hours before notifying other staff that I had concerns that need to be addressed and wanted to move forward with my appointment. Come to find out “Tony” never told anyone just had me sitting and waiting. My appointment ended up taking 3 hours resulting in expensive parking fees with no accommodations from GE Denistry for the inconveniences. Management follow responses are terrible which never happens. They don’t have a system for retaining important documents such as X-rays, I had to obtain them and send 4Xs. Ridiculous and everything is totally unacceptable. First impressions means a lot. A good business could loose a lot of revenue just because of the faulty initial bad contact.

I heard good reviews from one person but I haven’t been having good customer service or experience with Great Expressions. The women that work in the 1010 location are rude, nonchalant, and not professional. They gave me the run around and have wasted my time and money. I went to another location in Buckhead first and since they did not do the procedure I need, that office referred me to the 1010 location. Once I was called to the back, they had to get my information and answer the same questions from the Buckhead location when I was told the information was transferred. I ended up being there for +3 hours, just for them to tell me to go to another office and that I had to get a another medical clearance form done before I could schedule the surgery. Now I’m stuck and have to look for yet another office. This experience was such a turn off!

Every experience i have had here has been great. Laina is always super kind to me and patient as well. I came in for an oral surgery and was in and out pretty quickly. I am grateful to have found this location and will continue to have treatment here.

Very frustrated with my visit. I had never been to Great Expressions before but decided to try since it seemed to have a good rating. I was scheduled to see a periodontist in October but they had to cancel it last min. and rescheduled me for just over a month later in November. But that didn’t really bug me until my appointment today. I had some trouble finding the entrance and bike parking (Google maps shows the entrance on 10th St. when it’s actually behind the building) and checked in exactly 10 min. late. I sit in the waiting room for 1.5 hours (asking once about the wait after an hour) only for them to take my x-rays, make me sit in the waiting room for another 10 or so min. Then, they call me up to say they have to reschedule me again because I was over 10 min. late. I understand the need for punctuality but given it was my first visit, the difficulty finding the office, and still only being 10 min late (not 15, not 20) I thought there wouldn't be an issue. Nowhere did I see this check-in policy online, stated in any appointment confirmation email or text, nor was it told to me when I actually checked in. Moreover, I was told they tried to call me around my appointment time but I never received a call and have no missed calls in my inbox. Having to schedule an appointment like this during the work week is hard enough and for them to take so much of my time only to ask me to come back again in a month feels very inconsiderate.

Read some reviews before leaving mine & I'm certain that less that 0 stars is appropriate for this location. My orginal appointment was for 3pm, I got called & asked if I wanted to move it up, I say sure that's great. They tell me 1pm for a consultation, immediately I'm like what? I'm coming in for an extraction, not to talk about or discuss what's needing to be done. That part was already decided, discussed & planed by my regular dentist office. They wrote the recommendation for me to get the extractions done on this day, so why are they, this location needing to am discuss anything at all is beyond me. So last month, 10/10/2024 I had a blood transfusion. Today is 11/26/2024 & this location is telling me they can't do the extractions becuase they need a medial clearance, OK that's understandable in a way. The part I have a problem with it is, they tell me I can't get it done today, but turn around & say I can get it done the next week. Literally less than 7 days, I can come back & get the extractions done. Mind you this was before they even said anything about needing a medical clearance. Now I'm looking at them like, wtf is the difference between today, & next week. I asked them, I said it's 2024 why can't yall get this so called medical clearance sooner, like today. With email, fax, phones, I'm not understanding why I'm allowed to go home without getting the procedure I need done. The only thing they can say is their fax machine is down at the moment. Bruh what!! Now let me explain why, I'm pissed. I mentioned I had my appointment moved up from 3pm to 10:30am becuase they asked, not me. I get there, this mid town location from Gwinnett. I'll admit it did t take long for me to get called to the back, maybe 10 mins. Once I got to the back & the initial intake was done, I was left back there for at least 30-45 minutes. Enough time to doze off a few times & catch a light nap. The doctor comes in & says it's only going to take about 20 mins for the extractions, simple easy. He's looking at a picture of a scan my primary dentist sent over. Mid town location actually did nothing & wanted to charge me $100 for telling me what's on the paper needing to be done, calling that a consultation. Now I'm a out of the chair, sitting I the hallways waiting to be discharged or whatever. People walking by seeing I'm pissed off, one lady did talk to me & asked me if I wanted to speak to the office manger, I spoke to him, very pointless being that he couldn't do anything. This the person who explained the fax machine wasn't working. He did offer to validate my parking, by the way I still had to pay $3 after all the time wasted of mine. If I was suppose to pay $100 for that service, I did not & wasn't going too. Now after all of this bs, they then tell me that there's another location, in Lawrenceville that I could go too. This part isn't on them, my primary should've known to give me a Gwinnett location being that I live in Gwinnett. There was no point in me going to mid town for anything & now I will never opt for going to mid town again after this. I'm not particularly mad that the medical clearance needs to be done, I'm more pissed that my time was wasted & I have to take another day off work for soemthing that should've been done today

Everyone was kind & pleasant. The hygienist did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. No one has gotten my teeth this clean. The hygienist did forget to do the throat cancer check so the assist did it when I asked about it. The doctor was very informative and offer some bridge suggestions for my back teeth.
