New patient here.. scheduled appointment close to inquiring. However, the rep that took my call, her name was Sierra. She did not advise me on location to confirm that I had the address. She didn’t tell me where to park, especially since this is not a standalone location. She did not advise me that there is paid parking. So I arrived at the location on time took about 10 minutes for them to call me back very friendly. Staff was welcome very warmly until I got to the back with pansy pansy was de hygienist. She went over a few Things And then she got down to the pricing which I do insurance I do healthcare insurance. I’ve been doing it for 23 years so therefore she advise me of pricing which it seems that they are pricing at this particular location or this practice in general is more expensive than regular or other dentist office I previously visit so therefore, my out-of-pocket would’ve been much more greater than I was expecting to spend, especially since Pansy was just adding items to it without consulting so once we did a breakdown, I advise her that I didn’t need all those services or I didn’t want them at the time. OK great so the doctor came in after they took these extensive x-rays and he went over some things and , we kind of agreed to disagree with his findings although he is the Dentist I had previously saw another Dentist previous four not to say that he was wrong but his energy was just off. It was just like a macho energy type thing. Well, I’m looking at what I know so this is what it is. This is my mouth , kind of shipped even when his financial person came in and she was advising me of my financial responsibility for the overall services things like that as far as moving forward would getting partials in my mouth and basically try to tell me how insurance work went again. I have been doing insurance for over 20 years so to say do not go here because they don’t validate parking. They don’t give you all the information you need upfront to find a location, especially since it’s not a standalone facility

The wait time was average since they stay busy and try to accommodate all patients. Dr. Tran is pleasant, personable and listens to your concerns and do address your concerns. What I enjoy best is that Dr. Tran keeps the patient engaged and gives an update every step of the way during the process. When I exit, I know exactly what was done. This helps both of us to address any future issues appropriately.

10am Wed. 4th and final visit to this location. Dental team has pattern of being late beyond the "15 minute grace period" they extend to patients, while I have arrived early or on time myself. Then are visibly rushing thru. Today's appointment was the worst being stuck in the waiting room 40 minutes past my appointment time after I inquired about timing at 20 and 35 mins past. Second time my time has been wasted to this degree -over 70 minutes according to the parking garage that I had to pay overtime for on a 20 minute appointment. The rooms are filthy and equipment and finishes are in poor condition. Overall staff has been friendly and helpful in other matters.

I came in for the first half of my cleaning and I had to wait an hour in the chair no one had checked on me. The hygienist was rude and the first thing she said to me was as how mad are you? When you put it like that like pretty mad. She felt rushed. The topical numbing had worn off but I was still charged for it. Didn’t think to ask for a refund plus after being there for close to two hours I wanted to leave. Today I came back for my second half cleaning. I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room and 20 mins in the chair. Again the topical treatment had worn off. I’d like to request a refund for both those gels and I wasn’t presented a bill until after I paid and had to google everything to figure out what everything was. Awful service.its also very fishy to me after getting such a bad service the first half of the cleaning I conveniently wasn’t sent a survey.

I have been going to the Decatur location of great expression for 2+ years. The office is always clean and for the most part the staff is nice and knowledgeable. Just about everything you could possibly need for your teeth is there which is very convenient. That said, I cannot give more than 3 stars because they have pretty poor time management. I waited an hour to have my wisdom teeth removed and the appointment was set for 8:30am. I’ve also had to wait ~30 minutes at every regular appointment I’ve scheduled (sometimes in the lobby, other times in the actual treatment room). This is likely due to overbooking as their hygienists are regularly booked a few months out and when you’re in the office whoever is working with you is also working with other people at the same time. No matter the reason though, this is not a great patient experience and I wish they would get it together.

The Dr, Jazmyn and the entire staff are professional, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. They provide you with instructions and get your questions answered; with much patience. I’m still healing, but I know for sure this Dr and her staff did everything right and top notch. They even fixed what another office didn’t complete. Before I knew it, I was waking up. Perfect.

The cleaning was done to my satisfaction. Everybody knows when I visit Great Expressions because I smile more to show my pearly whites.

I’d recommend, with caveats. Pros: The staff are courteous. I love my dental hygienist, and her assistant is great, too. The dentist and hygienist take time to listen to any questions. Cons: The dental chairs, office chairs, and the building itself need updating. You have to pay to park. And the team can be VERY late. I’ve waited up to a hour. Perhaps the office is working on this, as I didn’t have to wait long this time to be called to the back (less than 10 minutes after my appointment time).
