Customer Reviews
The dentist is very kind and very knowledgeable. I walked in the office to have 2 crowns done and my anxiety was of the roof she made me comfortable and spoke to me to calm me down. I tell I didn’t even feel when she injected me with the numbing injection they give you. I didn’t feel anything she is wonderful and would recommend anyone to go to her. Her assistant was fantastic as well both of them together made my experience great. Also I just want to give a shout out to the hygienist he is wonderful and I love the way he does my cleaning and is very professional. Also a shout out to the girl at the front desk I’m not good with names but she is the only one at front desk.. I remember when I was going to the great expression in Cleveland ave and I hated going there I wasn’t very happy with the staff there they were very rude but the staff you have now in college are professionals and that’s what you like to see.. so I highly recommend them.
Update: today I went on for cleaning the hygienist Roberto was amazing. Very gentle and understanding. In all my years of dealing with dentist…This place is awesome- they made me feel so comfortable. I usually have a fear of going to the dentist but today gave me a sense of comfort on a different level. I highly recommend Great Expressions where they give Great service , great attention and overall a great experience. Kudos to Bryan, and Dr. Richard. Great staff at the front as well.
Everyone there is so kind and so skilled. I had to get my first round of fillings today and even though I feel like I am very dramatic at these appointments they made me feel extremely comfortable and safe. Thank you!
My insurance says they paid them and I should pay nothing. I have close to $1,000 in my insurance dental plan. They did not tell me how much I needed to pay which I thought was ‘O’ (except my co-pay) until I left and went to desk to pay co-pay. That is when I was told $258.00. (I put on credit card) I wasn’t told before procedure that I would have to pay anything. I called Ins company and they said I should pay nothing. Insurance Co. called them 4 times, after I checked with them, to see if Great Expressions called, they won’t return calls to my Insurance Co. My total bill was $681.00.
I don’t normally do reviews unless I feel it’s necessary and I have to share my experience. I’ve had horrible experiences with past dentist but Dr. Richards and his team are amazing!!!! Had to get a root canal and I just tried to go through with it but Dr. Richards noticed I was uncomfortable due to my anxiety and suggested we stop and come back another time and I did, but I couldn’t push past my anxiety and he referred me to a specialist. Which I think was the best move. He made me feel safe and heard which is a hard thing to find in doctors these days. For anyone looking for a dentist, I highly recommend them if you’re in search of a dental office. I can’t say thank you enough. Thank you Chris, Terry, Dr. Richards, and the rest of the staff ? until next time :)
All persons In the office were congenial and very pleasant, additionally seemed professional. I am not a doctor of dentistry, a hygienist, or a clerical staff person. I do realize and assess happenings in the moment, and a array of variables, became pretty clear to me that were incongruous to normal operating procedure! Firstly, though I had previously been a patient at that specific practice, it should have been made clear to me when setting the appointment, that I was not in network, that I was going to be charged a co- pay ( and for what reason procedurally) ; I was not! The people there know beforehand , what their exams will consist of, and therefore are not in the dark about what they a charging patients for. Had I been told, when I made it clear apon making the appointment with medicare dental insurance, that I would have to pay anything out of pocket, I would have declined the appointment. Additionally, I have 1000.00$s to spend with my medicare plan, which would have covered all of the cost that Great Expressions Dental preferred to charge me out of pocket, before disclosing to me, that because they were not in network, they apparently would not be able to collect on what they wanted to charge me for the deep cleaning. This is why I will not be using Great Expressions Dental* anytime in the foreseeable future!
Most chaotic practice I have ever been at. I have been a patient for several years of Great Expressions and have never been so dissatisfied. The office has holes in the floor the walls are marked up. The staff appeared to be lost and confused and disorganized with staff attempting to move me around, and shouting across the office to get directions. Also there was a lot of whispering between the Dr and the assistants regarding mistakes being made with that was to be done and what was not done correctly by other staff (at least from what little I could hear.). That was the worst experience I have ever been though in a professional setting
