10/2/24, my 1st visit. Went in for my 6 month cleaning/check-up which is covered by my insurance. They were very thorough & recommended a deep cleaning. They gave me pricing for a deep cleaning after insurance ($400) which required two additional visits. I declined stating that I might switch to a more comprehensive insurance plan which would cover more on Jan 1 (3 months away) and I just wanted the basic cleaning which was fully covered by insurance. They stated they could not do that since they had recommended a deep cleaning. So this was a complete waste of a couple hours & no teeth cleaned (& can't get them cleaned elsewhere through my current insurance for another 6 months).

Signed up for an appointment online which was very quick and convenient. The staff is excellent and very friendly and would highly recommend this site for basic dentist work. The deduction making this a a non-5 star review is simply because I made it clear I simply wanted a “new patient, routine cleaning/visit” which should have all been covered by insurance. After reviewing my claim, there were procedure codes selected and performed that I would consider excess even after declining all the additional recommended cleanings. I’m not an expert in procedure codes but to not cause a stir and the out of pocket being minimal, I signed just to have the experience be done (which they were up front and honest about before preformed) just the frustration of knowing I do have the typical coverage of a cleaning every 6mos and x rays every so often, I was a tad frustrated I still had an out of pocket payment and seeing claim report.

Came in on Thursday cause my filling chipped off and they got me in the next day for an exam and temporary crown. Just like many people I’ve had a terrible experiences with other dentist but Dr Richling and Brenda went above and beyond. They made sure that all my questions were answered and the most important part i didn’t feel anything. I can’t stress enough how great full I am and now I’m excited to come back. I wish I could give them a 10 out of 5 stars. Once again thank you to the both of you!!!

This is my first time being to a dentist in years. Dr richling, zelbra my hygienist, and Queen bee made everything super easy and quick. Everybody made this visit so simple and enjoyable. Will definitely be back next time.

Having a lot of bad, past experiences at Dental facilities, I was nervous and very anxious. Upon entering, Mariah greeted me, and took my information without any issues. She was very sweet, made me feel super comfortable, reassured me that the visit would not be bad at all, and even laughed at my bad jokes. Shannon took me back for x-rays and explained everything in great detail and again I was reassured everything would be fine. Victoria Myers my Hygienist, explained the probing, cleaning and maintenance very well to me. Now for the 3rd time I was reassured that everything would be fine and she was there to help get me back on track. She was very sweet, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Dr. Pema examined me and came up with a treatment plan immediately. He was super nice and again he reassured me everything was fine. Dr. Pema offered to do a lot of the work on the same visit if I was willing to. Norma worked with my insurance to be able to provide pricing and payment options very quickly. I then began the work that Dr. Pema suggested. During the procedures Dr. Pema explained everything really well. He was very gentle and made sure I was numb enough before proceeding with the work. Throughout the procedure he constantly checked on me and explained things as he worked. Shannon assisted and made me feel very comfortable. Shannon made me some awesome temporary crowns that have me smiling in the mirror constantly. I can't wait for my permanents. It's been years since I have smiled with my teeth showing!! The team is awesome, made sure I was comfortable and eased my anxiousness through out my whole visit. This office is amazing and deserves 10 stars!!!! I would highly recommend Goodyear Modern Dentistry!!! Update: I had my permanent top front Crowns put in. They look amazing!! They matched the existing crowns' color really well!! I am so thankful I got my smile back. I am still getting used to smiling and not being ashamed of my teeth. Thank you so much! Can't wait for my next appointment!
