When I came to my daughters first appointment Sydney was very welcoming checking us in , then when deja the dental assistant was taking x-rays and polishing her teeth they were so gentle and nice and very patient with my daughter and when doctors Anderson came in the room she was filled with so much positive energy and joy , I very much had a good experience here and will continue to come ! Everyone is so nice I’m glad I came to gilbert crossroads kids dentist’s !
Could not be happier with my experience! Absolutely amazing! my three older kids go there, but this was my baby’s first and appointment. She’s 15 months and they were amazing. Explained everything to me. We went over a slideshow and Dr. Anderson was incredibly great and able to clean her teeth, we were out of there within 37 minutes start and finish. 5+++++ stars recommend for all ages! Thank you
Such a good experience here. Everyone was so nice, starting at the front desk, and ending with the dentist. Office is very clean. I think we finally found our dentist. Yay!
My daughter is a first time patient here and the staff was amazing. Very informative and understanding. Dr Anderson made sure we had no questions and the front office was accommodating to getting her scheduled for her treatment. Thank you all so much will definitely be continuing care here.
DON’T COME HERE IF YOUR CHILD HAS SPECIAL NEEDS. At the initial consultation I thought Ms. Anderson would be a great fit for my child to continue on with dental care being new to the area. My son is on the spectrum but mainly deals with sensory processing disorders issues. One of the main issues is anything touching his teeth since he was a baby and I use to have to battle with brushing and flossing and we have come a long way over the years. I expressed this during his initial visit and they assured me that they are well trained in kids with special needs such as my child. I had prepped my son for the visit to know what to expect and when she checked because he did a good jobs she though he was going to respond the same way with a needle in his jaw in which I would have opted out of him trying to “see how well he does” when my child can’t handle anything such as tooth brush or floss let alone a needle being in his mouth. I would have opted for the less invasive route for my child know how sensitive he is and has anxiety but tries to do his best in his appointments when people are calm and treat him with respect. She my child raised his hand up in pain Ms. Anderson being very condescending and rude stated “That he needed to calm down…asked Do you know why you are here? She also push my child’s hand down as was raising it to try to express pain and said “I don’t need your help” and I was in the room floored trying to calm my child. Then ask she was trying to numb him with the needle again I told her that he isn’t going to be able to deal with that had I known that is what we were going to do I wouldn’t have had him go through having my child’s mouth or jaw injected so numb him as some people are more sensitive in their mouth such as myself. So, she told me we can do the other option which did not involve a needle at all to seal off the areas and that if my child needed any work done he would have to be under anesthesia to have work done and that is something I already know. So, as my child was trying calm his nerves as he walked tv above him he was trying to ask her about the show has she even seen the show before and she stated “Do You know why your heat! That’s extra! As if my son was there for some extra incentive to watch screen time and tv which is something I don’t allow much of at my own house. I was so upset because my son was not screening or anything just dealing with a normal reaction of saying it hurts and he was tense up in his body from the pain of what he felt and trying his best at the age of 5 going to do with something he has never felt in his 5 years of living has never been numbed or had dental pain and she thought he was supposed be o be fine like he was when she was not injecting him with a needle. I did contact her office afterwards to not make a scene in the office and she was trying to be condescending with me saying she is there to take care of the patient which is my child and that other parents want her to talk to their kids that way and I highly doubt that. She had no bedside manner, no compassion, and I won’t be bringing him back. I left her finish the second application of treatment to seal what needed to be sealed until going to find another place. Where my child has not been treated this way by new dentist nor old dentist.
