Customer Reviews
I recently visited Gentle Dental and had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Francis, and I can confidently say it was the best dental experience I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and made me feel completely at ease. The clinic's name, "Gentle Dental," truly reflects the care and attention they provide. Dr. Francis is a true professional—thorough, patient, and incredibly kind. He took the time to explain every step of the procedure, ensuring that I felt comfortable and informed. His gentle approach and expert hands made what is usually a stressful experience for me absolutely painless. He genuinely cares about his patients' well-being, and that really shines through in his work. I recommend Gentle Dental and Dr. Francis for anyone seeking top-notch dental care with a personal touch. If you're looking for a dentist who combines skill with a compassionate approach, Dr. Francis is the one to see!
Experience was good. My baby is 2 years old and we thought that we may have difficulty in holding her during checkup. But to a surprise the doctor was friendly and the checkup was done very easily.
I was in, I was out. I was seen very quickly, sat down within minutes. Got my dental work done in a pain free manner. The ladies in the office were friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful in helping with my insurance. Dr.Francis explained everything and the entire process was smooth. Thanks for a positive experience!
0 STAR IF I COULD!!!!! I went last year to get a tooth pulled and the whole staff was super awesome knew what they were doing got me in and out made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment and tooth removal. I went last week for an examination just to check out my teeth make sure all is good and a teeth cleaning.. well.. I waited about an 1 hour and 40 minutes before they took me back. The girl that did my X-rays was super sweet. Then she took me to the station area where I was gonna get my cleaning at. Waited about 20 to 30 minutes for the main dentist Dr. Francis to come over didn’t say hello just came over put my chair back and started poking and picking at my teeth. Dr. Francis was poking in my mouth and it was really uncomfortable and I told him that it was hurting and you can tell by my body language I was uncomfortable. He kept going and then when he finished he still had me tilted back in the chair talked hella fast said “brush and floss” or something like that. He talked so fast I couldn’t understand or hear. And then he walked off.. mind you I’m still tilted all the way back.. left the air sucker in my mouth walked away didn’t say I was done or nothing. So I finally took the air sucker out of my mouth. Waited tilted back all the way super uncomfortable waited about 15 minutes for another doctor to come in and she came to clean my teeth which I thought that was what the other doctor was doing.. but they did all that and then I was done. WORST TEETH CLEANING EVER! On my way out walking through the waiting room a patient was walking out saying he was going to find a new dentist cause they had him waiting so long. Don’t recommend this place..
Corporate dentistry is all about making money—as much as they can and as quickly as they can. Unfortunately your dental health is not their priority. I had the same private dentist for over 25 years and have had regular checkups twice a year, unfortunately since I changed over to Medicare I had to change dentist. Dr. Francis asked if I ever had “deep cleaning”, I never heard of it and why would a person who sees the dentist regularly (who had just been to the dentist 6 months prior for a cleaning) need such a procedure? Then he told me after viewing my X-rays that I needed 2 crowns. What? Makes no sense to me so I called my previous dentist and it made no sense to her either. After all is said and done, the “treatment coordinator” shared with me the costs $1,754 paid by insurance for 2 crowns and $478 paid by me. Oh and she dismissed my question about Medicare being my primary insurer and billed my secondary insurance only. Then she said enthusiastically, “we can do it now, if you like.” Needless to say I left the office, now I am trying to get copies of my X-rays and have been unsuccessful, called twice, visited the office twice, they said they were going to email it— it’s been 3 weeks, didn’t realize email was slower than snail mail. Hmmmm. Part 2: received my X-rays today 7/23. And the office staff was nice so I’ll change my 1 star to 2 stars.
