It was a good appointment, setting up for permanent crowns while putting in temporary ones today. I feel a good amount of time was spent on me as an individual patient that deserved custom care. I do personally feel like a greater care could have been taken in regards managing my pain, as another office within Gentle Dental did a better job In my opinion. And that’s that.

Been going to this dentist office for years. Just had a third crown "installed" (fillings from 80s were deteriorating, a necessary decision, though I was never pressured). Incredible service. So satisfied. Thank you doctor and team for taking care of me.

Every time I have been in a Gentle Dental office, they have been pleasant to interact with. I have never had them recommend unnecessary work, and they have taken the time to explain my options. I also like that the spaces are not crowded and that they are a calm atmosphere.

This location is the closest to where I live and I just did not want to give up on them. As far as dental services given, everything has been above par and I feel as though the hygienists are very receptive and gentle when working on my teeth. I am glad that I did not give up. As of 10/02/24, the customer restroom hot water has been repaired! Due to arthritis in my hands I appreciated the hot water. Thank you. Previous post: The downtown office does not have hot water in their customers restroom. Office staff reported to me that their employee restroom does not have hot water either. It has been this way since I transferred from a Gresham dentist in August of 2022. I have reported over and over again. I was told by the office manager that I was the only one who had complained-I told her I did not believe her. The office manager told me directly to my face a couple of days ago that she had no intention of fixing the customer restroom, which she uses frequently throughout the day herself, she did not plan on "spending any money on getting it fixed" after she tried to trick me into believing that it was the buildings responsibility. This is a restroom that is located INSIDE the dental office, which is their responsibility. How can a medical office get away with doing this? I am going to demand to use a sink with hot water to wash my hands and demand that anyone working on me wash their hands in front of me in the future. The services I have received from this location have been fine but again, this is a medical office-this should be a priority to get both restrooms fixed!!

Went in for a tooth extraction and the dentist tells me condescendingly about everything else wrong with my teeth except the one thing I came in for. Talked down to me the entire time. Horrible experience. Walked out. I’d rather deal with the tooth pain than that dentist. ETA: they put on my chart that I was scheduled for a comprehensive examination when I specifically told them I only needed an extraction. Just them trying to pad the bill even more than just their over inflated prices.

I had a great experience. Everyone was professional and kind. The dentist was to the point and I didn’t feel like I was getting a lecture or anything. Highly recommend!

I had the first stage of crown prep on Monday and had been feeling increasing pain ever since, which was radiating to my ear and throat . When I called in Friday at 2 p.m. to see if I need to come in, no one answered and the answering machine said if I were callling during business hours to leave a message. I learned later - not from the message - that the office isn’t even open on Fridays. I called the on call emergency dentist that the message directed me to (still within 9-5 on Friday) - told the person that answered that I’m experiencing pain after a visit on Monday - follow up question - are you a patient of ours - later follow up question WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU HAD BEEN TO THE DENTIST. They said someone would call - it’s the next day, I might have an infected tooth - it might be serious , and I can’t get answers. I’m trying to avoid a weekend emergency room visit or a root canal here. This is finally driving me to change insurance so I can change dentists. That’s a pretty onerous process - it takes a lot to get to this point. This follows a similar experience that I had over Labor Day weekend with what turned out to be a broken crown (different tooth). This is a disturbing pattern from a business that already seemed like a profit driven upselling starting point for dental professionals before they move on
