Gentle Dental Cambridge

I switched to Gentle Dental Cambridge from another location and the experience is completely different. The receptionist I have interacted with is so genuinely caring and always takes the time to review my billing to make sure I'm not paying a dime more than I should. Dr. Navy presents information clearly and respectfully to allow me to make my own decisions about my dental care. All of the staff that I have interacted with at this location have made it feel like a small practice where they know me, and I've only been 3 times!

The GD staff was great today. They made accommodations for me, gave me a full screening and cleaning. As well as tips on how to better take care of my teeth. Everyone there was warm and welcoming. I greatly appreciated their work.

The only reason I went to this dentist was because it was covered by my dental insurance. However the experience was far from acceptable. I experienced the long waits even though I had an appointment (up to 20-30 minutes), the out-of-date facilities, the high pace of service and high cost. The quality I received from the actual professionals working on my teeth was not bad though. Billing however was an issue multiple times. I would receive a statement and it was totally unclear what I was paying for, inquiring about it was received with hostility and impatience. My last treatment was in December 2023, they sent an 'adjustment' in June 2024. They couldn't explain to me why they sent it so late and only referred me to call their 'corporate office'. Calling the corporate office I get a voicemail (tried several times) for the person responsible for billing, who never returned my calls. In the end I just ended up paying the stated amount on the bill, just to avoid any further increase and stop the spam mail from this company. I'm fully aware of the fact that dental healthcare is a lucrative business, but this place is run without any personal touch. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone, since leaving this dentist I have had a great experience with a different dentist in Central Sq.

I went to get remove my wisdom teeth, The girls were so nice. They explain every detail. The assistant was so nice as well. Definite recommend this place. In the first time I was so nervous. Thanks went well.

Dr. Mancini was kind enough to take me through the numerous questions I had about some fillings that were done on my front teeth. I got to see him without charge for two follow-up visits weeks and a month a half for some polishing after they were done! He promptly answered my email and even offered to send me pictures so I could better understand why I had to adjust to the new sensation. He also explained why they needed to get taken care of. I also appreciated that he recommended a filling instead of a crown, saving me a lot of money. Great service even after the procedures!

Came in for an emergency appointment. Dr Andrew was very helpful. He gave me his business card and told me to call/email him should my condition worsen, and that he will be there if I needed to see the ER. Place is very clean and modern. Reception staff are also very helpful and friendly. I have no gauge of the prices in the Cambridge area but I didn't have insurance and what I was charged was quite reasonable for what I needed to be treated for.

Dr. Mancini is great. He did all of my teeth 7 years ago when he was at the Gentle Dental in JP; I needed more work now, and I’m coming all the way to see him in Cambridge (about 40 minutes each way), instead of walking to the GD in JP, because I trust his work so much (plus his sparkling personality, of course).

I just moved to the area so I am new there. Great team! Leah and Dr. Goldberg treat me and they are superb at what they do. Olga works out front and is beyond healthful. Excellent customer service from the entire staff.
