Total scam artists at Gentle Dental. I have had a couple cavities in my life but overall dentists tell me I take great care of my teeth. I went to Gentle Dental and they told me I had NINE cavities. They told my husband he had 3 cavities. I did not get any filled and went to another dentist who told me I had zero cavities. Stay away from Gentle Dental.

This is my second review, 3 months later, had a bad experience switched dentists (found one I trust and so far has done a great job)- today while having my crown cemented in (after a bad job from gentle dental) she informed me that one of my fillings has chipped. I asked her which one, came home looked the tooth number up and realized it is the filling Gentle Dental did 3 months ago. So the 2 fillings I received from them in June , one turned into a root canal and the other needs to be removed and redone. Oh and my dental insurance was maxed out after my visit with Gentle Dental so all of this additional work is out of pocket. Bravo Gentle Dental, Bravo. There are plenty of dentists in Arlington, I recommend avoiding not so Gentle Dental

Overall a mediocre experience. Left waiting frequently, often stuck with inexperienced hygienists using outdated tools (though they still did a great job at cleanings, working with what they had). I overall felt as though I was being pushed into purchasing additional services: gum grafts that I suspect weren't ever necessary, an expensive fitted mouth guard that I got much cheaper at my new dentist, and even brought me in for a meeting with an Invisalign sales rep when I mentioned I was experiencing some jaw pain-- a completely unrelated problem!

I agree with previous reviews that Gentle Dental is the worst place to treat your teeth. I have been using this clinic for over ten years because of laziness on my part for change. The quality of service has gone downhill since the pandemic. The doctor there is greedy and wants to take everything from you, even without service. Most recently, they forced me to pay $30 to transfer my X-ray at Gentle Dental to another dental clinic provider. I have to pay for it. Is it legal?

Our last few visits to gentle dental of Arlington were a billing nightmare. Work done in 2022 was erroneously billed and took over a year for them to correct after many visits and walkthroughs with billing. For our most recent procedures, which spanned 2023 & 2024, I asked for an itemization of costs so I could use my 2024 FSA Card for the work done in 2024. You would think that an itemized list of costs would be well within their ability to provide. After a very long conversation with multiple people and their inability to understand what I was asking for, they finally agreed to send an itemized list of services with associated costs. Let's see what they send. I also asked for the regional managers contact info which they refused to provide and after insisting, they gave me someone's name. Somethings not right when a company as large as DG won't tell you who the regional manager is! Honestly, their staff is not the least bit customer focused. The lack of empathy around the cost of dental work and our efforts to leverage our FSA money (where legally applicable) is appalling. Buyer beware!
