I came to this office about 2 years ago. I had to get my wisdom teeth removed. DR. FRANKLYN remove the first two on my right side. Wonderful job didn’t really feel to much pain. So I had to wait until my right side was healed to go back on do my left side for my wisdom teeth. I kept calling to get my appointment. I was being told my heath insurance didn’t pay for all four wisdom teeth. I was surprised because my insurance told me they did. So I called my insurance let them know what was going. They Reassurance me they paid them for all four wisdom teeth. I let them know I only had two pulled out. I never got my left side done. So of course it was A back-and-forth thing With my insurance And the dental office. Eventually, it was proven that my insurance they pay for it they did get paid. So I schedule my appointment to get my left done. Smh When I woke up, my mouth was in so much pain. It felt like my jaw was broken. I knew he had to be mad because I was calling up to the office. I was calling his personal cell. I had to get the insurance company involved because if you got paid, you got paid for a job that he did not do, so I guess he was mad about that and he had to finish his job. The health process for my mouth took about two months I noticed as it was healing. I was spitting out teeth, and I couldn’t understand. I called them several times to let them know hey, something is going on with my mouth. I’m spitting out teeth. I noticed when I was drinking anything cold warm and brushing my teeth. I would get this very very bad pain like my teeth are sensitive, but it was a nerve once I realize that my left side top molar was broken, I knew it came from dr. FRANKLYN now I have several x-rays that can prove that my tooth was never broken and still this day. I get painful sensation from him breaking my top tooth is not broken at the bottom is broken at the top took a drill and went past it hitting it but didn’t tell me. So the reviews I’m reading I believe them.
The customer service here was amazing so welcoming so professional , almost relaxing. I came for the removal of 4 wisdom teeth and the process was petty quick. I was able to schedule a follow up appointment within a week as well.
My brother-in-law went there to have four teeth surgically removed. The receptionist and staff were all cordial and helpful as they prepared my brother-in-law for the procedure. Dr. Scott performed the surgery and allowed time for recovery. The staff provided him with post-op instructions plus advised him to get his prescriptions filled. We were very pleased with the help we received from Dr. Scott and his staff.
My 20 year old daughter had to get 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I dropped her off, but when I picked her up she was complaining that the dentist was rude, aggressive and arrogant. She said the staff was unprofessional and it felt like she was at a funeral home. The place felt cold and eerie. From the moment I picked her up she was complaining about pain on one side of her face. I called 2 days later because her face was still swollen and her tooth was still bleeding. She gave me instructions to follow. Did that and the problem only persisted. Finally I called the doctor’s ER line and he was very very unprofessional. He was talking to me like I was a child. Reprimanding me instead of asking questions. I then told him he needed to adjust his tone and listen before talking! I told him the directions the receptionist told me to follow and he yelled at me and said “SHE DIDNT TELL ME TO DO THAT” I asked him are you telling me or asking me because your tone of voice is very unprofessional! In addition I told him that I was going to give a bad review about his professionalism and staff and he said he doesn’t care. I can write whatever I want! In addition my daughter had a picture of her crying posted to Her INSTAGRAM on her phone. She couldn’t figure out how that happened when she couldn’t even stand up and she didn’t have her phone. She said something is fishy about that place. Something isn’t right. Too many young girls and everyone seemed unprofessional. They extracted 4 wisdom teeth in 20 minutes and called to pick her up like she was a street cat! From a mother’s perspective with the dentist and my daughters experience. Something is definitely going on in there!!!!!!!! They pulling more than teeth!!! For the record My daughter is an intellectual child attending one of the top 5 colleges in America. She said if she wasn’t in so much pain she would’ve went elsewhere. She got an appointment in 2 days! They were the only oral surgeon available that didn’t have a one month wait. That too was suspicious!
I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted in 2017. After the surgery, I had complete loss of feeling/parenthesis/discomfort/numbness in my left lower lip, gums and chin. When I mentioned this at a follow up visit, the dentist immediately got defensive and stated “yeah well you knew this could’ve happened.” I was younger at the time and taken aback by how he responded so I let it go but looking back on it I should’ve taken more steps on doing something about it. 4 years later and I still have numbness and tingling in that area that will likely never resolve. I know sometimes surgery may cause complications but maybe if I had been given better advice I would’ve had more options or possibly been able to repair the now permanent nerve damage.
