Absolutely love Dr Stark and his staff. Been a patient for a very long time. Started when I lived in Flagstaff and continue to drive from out of town now for appointments because of the amazing service. They are always on time or early, kind, accommodating and do a great job with everything from cleanings, routine exams and more extensive dental work. Highly recommend them if you are not already a patient.

Everyone is always very friendly and professional. What can be an unpleasant experience is made much less so by the attentive and sensitive considerations of the staff. I visited Dr Benjamin Stark today as a new patient for a 2 hour procedure including an extraction. I am 76, recently moved here from Washington State where I had an excellent dentist. The dentist that was recommended to us was Dr Ryan Tuinstra who I felt very happy with. Unfortunately I needed extensive work and Dr Ryan was out of our insurance network… Dr Ryan recommended two colleagues that were in network…I chose Dr Stark. I can’t thank both Dr Ryan ( for his recommendation ) and Dr Ben for the confidence and gratitude I feel for the professional awesome and competent work he provided! Never had a dentist office like Flagstaff Smiles. Always able to fit me in for emergencies & staff's always professional & kind. Dr. Stark's the Best! Even with complicated dentistry, he always handles it perfectly. Amazing, affordable office!

I will start off with the good, the dental work preformed by the Benjamin Stark was as painless as possible. Unfortunately, the billing has been nothing but a disaster since the work was preformed in September of 2023. Between the dentist and the office staff they believe that they provided an additional service that was not done. If that is not enough to make you reconsider trusting your private health information with them, then there is more. They did not discover their issue until a year after service was "preformed" and are trying to blame insurance for their poor record keeping. I have filed a complaint with the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners due to my concerns over their ability to keep accurate records.
