Went in today and everything went smoothly everyone is so nice and no problems putting in the crown on. I thought my tooth couldn’t be saved this time cause I chipped it more a couple of days ago but Tonya and Dr. Medina took a look at it and went straight to work knew exactly what to do! totally didn’t know you guys were going to put the permanent one on right away but that’s a plus thank you Tonya and Dr. Medina! —Felipe

Dr Medina is a fantastic dentist. He was able to combine 2 appointments, saving me a lot of time and money. I felt at ease and mostly pain free. I Highly recommend Flagstaff Modern Dentistry.

My son who is 21 years old was seen last August 2024. They did not ask him to pay anything before he left. 2 months after, we received 3 snail mails from the clinic with Flagstaff address, from the clinic with California address, and another from a debt collector. My son owes them $96. This is the first time we received mail from them. My son is just building his credit history and they sent his $96 debt to a debt collector just after 2 months of not paying. There was no other notice from them in those 2 months that passed. Credit card companies wait longer than 2 months and sends a lot of notices before sending your debt to a debt collector. And this is just $96 we are talking about, not $960, not $9600. My son is building his credit, and now this clinic ruined his credit history. I would have given 1 star, but I will give credit to their great hygienists.

Could not have been more frustrating. All I wanted was to get my teeth cleaned. I didn’t even care what it cost when I set up the appointment, I just wanted to take care of my teeth. Whatever you do, do not ask for a price breakdown. They act like you are questioning their morality. Upon entering I was told that they were signing me up for the in house dental plan and today would only be $220. I was assured it was cheaper than paying cash, which would be in excess of $400 (to get my teeth cleaned, mind you ). I didn’t even ask how much it would be, this is how I was greeted. I decided to just go with it because I didn’t really care about cost and just wanted it done. As I sat and waited I tried to look up the price of cleanings, xray, and exam. It is impossible to find that information for them, but prices I saw online for other practices in the area in no way could add up to an excess of $400. The hygienist proceeded with my exam and let me know it would be an extra $30 for irrigation, fine I said, “By the way. Since you have prices of stuff, how much does a cleaning, exam, and xray cost?” After a long back and forth she said, “I don’t know because we charge everyone different amounts”. I ended up telling her I didn’t feel comfortable any more and should just go somewhere else. As we were leaving the hygienist explained if I didn’t want to pay so much I “should get dental insurance like most people”. Thanks for the advice! Is it too much to ask to have a list of prices? It feels like you just pulled numbers out of the air with zero ability to justify how you reached them. When I tried to ask I was just met with defensive non answers. Horrible experience all around.
