First Care Dental

Scott and Gwen are the absolute best. No mater what situation they encounter and at my age who knows what they will find, they handle it with extreme professionalism, care and kindness. I love the fact that Scott is so knowledgeable and experienced that I do not have to go to another dentist or oral surgeon when things get dicey. They are both artist and technicians. I would trust them (and I do) with all of my family.

I had a fear of dentists for year. A friend recommended Dr. Scott Wathen at First Care Dental. I ended up going with a full set of upper implants which is a major deal for someone with a fear of dentists. The whole process was seamless and not uncomfortable at all. That was over 8 years ago. I have regular check ups and cleanings and found that the entire staff including the other doctors are excellent. The dental assistant Gwen has always made me feel like I was the most important patient they have. I strongly recommend First Care Dental to anyone looking for 5 star dental services.

The staff at First Care Dental is very professional. Have been going there over 30 years. Their work is excellent. Many positive things that impress me, and the one that stands out is that they all seem to enjoy each other's company. Recently had crowns installed by Deven and the newest team member, Dr. Connor Schwartz. Their team work is excellent, and both are very thoughtful and conscientious . My main hygienist is Jean who is very thorough and pleasant as she inflicts pain. The front office staff is cheerful and very professional. They are all winners ? ?.

Been a patient at First Care Dental since 1980 with Dr. Dryden. Big Fan! Since his retirement, I really love Dr. Taylor, Tracy and the whole staff there! While I'm not a fan of the ultrasonic tartar and plaque removal tool, my last visit for minor cavity repair couldn't have been any more pleasant. Apparently, I snore in the dental chair, too, LOL. Just a local to numb the area and had a nice nap while they did their work on my smile. Happy to give a 5 STARS rating for the long haul as the Best of Louisville in Dentistry from this patient of nearly 45 years!

I have been going to First Care for over 40 years and travel 50 miles to get there! On my last visit my bill was $1176 . I had previous bills that were that high but they always ask for half and the remainder when the work was complete! When presented with the bill Misty said I had to pay it all even before the work was completed! I have never been paid before I did the work! Apparently I am not trusted to pay my bill after 40 years !

Just had one of the best dental experiences EVER! I had the worst tooth ache and hadn't slept all night! when I called their office they were just about to close but they offered to stay late for me. Dr. Ben Taylor and his wonderful assistant Tracy greeted me and got me back right away! Super personable and great bedside manners! The best part is I went to bed great and woke up feeling amazing! Thank again Dr Taylor to you and your staff!
