Absolutely the worst Dr's Office I have ever attempted to go to. My first appointment was scheduled for the first appointment of their day and 2 hours after they opened I was still waiting to be seen. I watched two other people that admitted they didn't have an appointment go back before me so even though I had paid at the time of checkin I had to leave to go to work. Fast forward several months and after talking to my girlfriend who is also a patient made another appointment. She made the appointment for me and talked to the staff and explained what happened on the first attempt and we were assured it wouldn't happen again. Well today I attempted my 2nd appointment and literally the exact same thing happened. I wouldn't go to this place if it was the last place on Earth! I can't rate it low enough

Went to doctor appointment for hernia issues. Doctor walks in and asked who I'm shape like to have a big stomach. Excuse me but I have a hernia. She then goes on to ask have I try wearing spandex to help pull my stomach in. This appointment was very humiliating and depressing. I then informed her that I need something for my job stating my abilities at work. She suggested that I make an appointment at a weight loss doctor and ask them for a status on working. She also said to ask the weight loss doctor if they could order me a van or something to help with getting rid of my stomach. This was a wasted two hours. I could've checked my vitals myself at home. But yet they billing my insurance for being humiliated.

They’re rude and don’t care didn’t even tell me I had an appointment set up and while I was respectfully talking to a lady on the phone she hung up in my face very unprofessional and they should be ashamed to portray a place like that as such. Don’t work somewhere u don’t want to it shows in your work ethic and it’s sad because this is a obgyn/doctor place smh where people go to get help smh. I even drove all the way there for them to tell me my appointment was rescheduled no one thought to tell me before I got there drove for nothing.

Been a patient over 8yrs.. Dr Amoah is the only Dr. that actually didn't listen to a stubborn woman w/ a high tolerance to pain.. Actually recognized that I may need my cervical spine (neck) looked @. Got to a orthopedic surgeon & found out my spinal cord was crushed just from letting friends massage my neck, Which I thought was just stress & tension. Not. My signal fluid was dripping like an IV... He basically saved me from more pain & suffering...

I had bloodwork done a month ago at the St. Matthews location but haven’t gotten a call. I’ve made numerous calls and left several VMs to no avail. If there is a hold up for some reason I at least expect a courtesy call. Update 3 months later: I received the bloodwork directly from the lab a few days ago and there were several issues and concerns with my results that the office should have reached out to me about. The test was completed soon after my appointment. I took the results to a different doctor for help. I highly recommend going somewhere else.

All family health locations are a joke. I bring my kids into the walk in area because they are sick, I get there at 2:45 pm only to be turned away by a lady at the desk who tells me we should come back at 5 pm because the current doctor on shift is only taking the patients that are currently sitting in the waiting area. She advises we come back at 5 pm when another doctor takes over. We come back at 4:45 pm and we’re told by a gentleman at the desk that the lab closes at 6 and he is not sure if they are taking anymore patients. I explain to them we were there earlier but were told to come back. We wait an hour then a nurse comes into the waiting area and tells us “she’s sorry but the doctor can’t see anyone else today because the lab is closed” It’s only us in the waiting room and they’re supposed to close at 8. Tell me you don’t care about the well being of your patients without telling me that. These are children with high fevers and it’s ridiculous they couldn’t be seen. Fast forward to the next morning, I call the Orangeburg office and ask if any location has availability for today. The phone gets answered by a woman who clearly hates her job and says “what do you want again?” I repeat my question three times and she sends me to a voicemail to make an appointment. I hang up and call back 4 times and no one answers. The complete and utter disregard they have for their patients is unreal. If you want somewhere to care, don’t come here because these people clearly don’t. If I could give no stars, I would. Definitely transferring my kids medical records to another place.
