Took my mother who has Alzheimer’s disease to the Family Dental of Southington whom recommended that she have 5 teeth pulled and a an upper denture put it.We were initially told one price per the receptionist of $566 it was supposed to cover the first alignment which would typically be done a few months later and also the balance of the extractions that insurance didn’t cover. My mom took out care credit we put the $566 on it thinking this was covering her new denture and one alignment.However the day we came in for the appointment to remove the teeth and get the denture we were told by the dentist that we owed an additional $341 so we paid it because at this point this needed to be done and my mother was getting irritated with changing anything so I just went along with it even though I didn’t understand why the additional fee.The receptionist wasn’t there that day but when I later spoke with her she said she would discuss her error with pricing and talk with him to credit the account.The receptionist told me at a different visit she had quoted us based on insurance price ,However the dentist charged my mother his standard price in which I don’t agree with as it was their error.From that first appointment we had multiple visits as my mom was unable to wear the denture because it was uncomfortable. We were only 3 weeks out from the initial extractions and denture being put in that now we needed an alignment which cost $300 even though we were told that’s usually months out to have that done?He made the realignment which didn’t even last two days before it came out and had a hole in it.We are not even 30 days out we are paying $300 additional for an alignment. What about warranty of your work as you had it made incorrectly. Now we have a bill of $907 from the beginning denture and extraction instead of the initial $566 supposed to be charged top it off now you want to charge $300 for an alignment. Enough is enough!!My mother is in pain and not even able to wear this. The kicker to the entire thing is before we even came in to the office they charged her card $300. We aren’t even in the office or even a phone call to me to say hey I need to charge the card an additional $300 it was just done without permission.I decided to take my mother to another dentist as I refuse to have her pay anymore to someone who is not honest and doesn’t stand by his work.The new dentist said the reason my mom was having so many issues was. She had a major sore on the roof as it was not properly fitting in her mouth and also the left side of the denture was made too short. Not fitting in her mouth properly.Finally after a quality dental visit at a different office my mother is no longer in pain and can wear it.Please be careful going to this office so you don’t get taken advantage of like my mother was.

I had an excellent experience at Dr. Betros dental office. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Dr. Betros was thorough in explaining my treatment options and made sure I understood every step of the process. Dr betros is a awesome dentist and my wonderful client/customer for landscaping and snow removal. I take care of his residence and his office complex , good guy, polite , easy to work with.Great dentist, recommend him to everyone
