Familia Dental

Dr. Olga is awesome and very knowledgeable in the field of dentistry. She is kind and caring. The dental hygienists and staff are all clean and professional. I highly recommend Familia Dental. I’ve been a patient for years and am very happy with the excellence of care and the sincerity of their hearts.

Familia Dental is the worst place to go for dentistry. The only reason why I went here was due to not having dental insurance. They missed an issue with my two molars. One had a chip of the tooth come off. They said they fixed it but the fix that the Dentist so called did came right off at 2 am the next morning. Long story short I had to go to another dentist and pay them to help me and the new dentist did a lot more then Familia Dental. Familia Dental doesn't care about their patients. They hire employees that don't care about the patients we are just a means to getting money in their pocket. Familia Dental knows that in Madison WI the low income or disabled people are forced to go here due to no other dentists accept Medicaid as dental insurance. If you can avoid it don't go to Familia Dental. They may be able to do a quick clean with some sort of machine and light that they use to clean your teeth. No dental hygienists there to clean your teeth just an assistant who hands something to the dentist and helps set up appointments. Again stay away if you can.

I have been going to the East side Madison,WI clinic. Dr. Rohan is absolutely amazing- there should be 1000 more of him!? Everyone that works there is so polite too. They do an amazing job here highly recommend!

My appointment was for 11:00 a.m. . This was my first time coming to this dental place and my daughter was also getting her teeth done. We arrived on time completed the paperwork waited in the lobby for about 35 minutes passed our appointment time. We both had appointments at 11:00 a.m. just with different doctors. I was called back first before my daughter and the assistant took x-rays was very kind and polite and told me that my doctor or dentist would be in soon to go over the X-rays and my teeth I waited and waited and waited until I had someone come ask me to check on my daughter before they proceeded with any treatment that dentist was polite thorough went over everything and I agreed with whatever procedures and the cleaning and she was about almost done I hadn't even been seen yet and it's now going on 12:15 12:30 I asked the girl if she could check on the time and they told me there was a mix up with doctors but someone would come so I waited and waited and now it was going on 12:45 an hour and 45 minutes past my appointment time not one person except the assistant a young girl said sorry that it was taking so long finally I got up and left because my daughter came and was already done I went to the front to check out ask to speak to a manager the girl went back came back and the manager conveniently wasn't available to even speak with me so my review on this place is horrible I would never go back myself or my daughter will not return and go back to this place ever and I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Always an easy experience in your clinic. I love the fact that you do not have the TV noise going all the time. Everyone is courteous, polite and professional, this means more to me with my mental health issues. thank you MEC

My Appointment went well. Today, the doctors were nice they cleaned and did x-rays on me l loved everything about it. Would come more often just got to get over my fears. I recommend it to anyone!

Waited over an hour and a half..... they just stick u in a chair n leave u sitting n waiting.... no actual dental hygienist. Dentist tore up my mouth and did not actually clean my teeth and broke a part of a filling off so now I need to try to get in with another dentist to get it fixed, had some poor girl with no n experience attempt to polish my teeth. Whole actual appointment was maybe 5 mins tops between 'polishing & dentist'. I made the dentist stop and got up and left bc she was gouging so badly at the root that I was about to jump out of my skin. Had dozens of cleanings done in my life, never had that kind of experience.

As usual, this was a miserable experience. Running late, no problem, dental offices get busy and problems arise. My kids had consecutive appointments. The hygienist came out and called my first child’s name and then some random name, so I didn’t answer. So she said it again. I said my first child’s name that she had gotten correct and then said are you saying my next child’s name? She was rude, as if it was my fault that she had the wrong patient name. Get back in the room and they keep calling my one kid by the wrong name. I finally said that’s not their name! Come to find out kids name was wrong in their system. Waited over an hour to see the dentist for my first child. We’ve been going there since they were itty bitty. When we went to check out and pick up a referral for the orthodontist, they still called my kid by the wrong name and that name was on the referral. I reiterated, my child has NEVER been called by this name. She acted as though I was making it up and trying to pull something over on them. I asked her to please fix it in the system. She handed me back the referral with kids name whited out and a hand written name in its place. Then she proceeded to tell me that the orthodontist wasn’t accepting new patients. So what is the referral for?!?! It’s a piece of paper with the wrong name and actually means nothing because the dentist isn’t accepting anyone new. Government dental care is a joke.

I was seen one hour after my scheduled appointment today. They acknowledged their delay. At the very end of the appointment. Their bathrooms were unhygienic, at minimum. I am aware that this is a clinic for "welfare" clients, but they could surely could do better by presentation. The front desk individuals have no business working in customer service. I previously worked in the Drug & Rehab field. I stopped bringing clients to this location due to the poor service. However, poor insurance limits options when someone is in need. I have since stopped bringing my own family here due to the appearance, lack of customer service, slow service, unhygienic services until I had no other options.
