EXCEL DENTAL LOWELL

I had an amazing experience at this dentist office! From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel super comfortable. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable, patiently answering all of my questions. I came in for an appointment with my toddler, and the team was so understanding and patient, allowing me to tend to my child when needed. They even offered to distract and play with her so I could get my X-rays done, which was such a huge help. This is truly the best dentist office I have ever been to, and I can’t recommend it enough. Out of all the places I’ve been and the doctors I’ve seen, this one stands out by far!

I was very pleased with my experience today. The doctor was able to see me, evaluate my situation and extract my tooth all in one visit. I would have rated the visit 5 stars had the assistant been more prepared for the doctor’s procedure. Perhaps they do not work together often to know the nuances of the doctor’s techniques. The financial manager was outstanding as was the front desk staff. The practice made me feel so confident that I decided to switch dental practices right on the spot. Thank you. You made my day.

If such fantasy world existed, this is a place where magical tooth fairies roam. I could tell everyone was genuinely happy to work there. The receptionist, the dental assistances, and everyone there were wonderful. They were not putting on a show face for when you’re there. Dr. Swagat Patel has a real compassionate heart, wanting me to go to oral surgeon to take wisdom tooth out when I didn’t want to go. I still prefer to get knock out by Mike Tyson though than get my wisdom tooth taken out. The med he prescribed for me for the swollen gum is working! Now I can close my mouth, breathe through my nostrils, and bite down on food. Dr. Patel’s a real life hero, not all heroes wear capes. Anyway, awesome magical place. Highly recommended. Don’t be afraid to make appointment there

I just had my first visit at the Lowell office on Wood St. with Dr. Vineeda Sharma Razdan, She tried to bully me into paying $450.00 today for some day time mouth guards, because she could see some damage to my teeth due to clenching my jaw. she said my insurance wouldn’t cover them. I explained that I didn’t have the money and that I was self conscious about wearing those. I asked if we could move forward with the visit and touch that subject at a later visit, that at this time it wasn’t an option for me. I just wanted to focus on getting the fillings I need, and anything else she wanted discuss about my x-rays. She became agitated with me at this point and said “well you have two options, either you wear a mouth guard, or you continue to destroy your teeth” I told her “I’m now feeling overstimulated and want to change the subject.” She then responded with “listen, let me explain something, if you’re willing to listen.. if you don’t trust me we won’t be able to work together.” I told her “I completely agree, I’d like to see someone else in this office. I’m now uncomfortable and don’t want to work with you moving forward” she said “that’s fine, let me see if anyone is available to see you” two minutes later the receptionist came into the room and told me all the dentist were completely booked and couldn’t see me. That I would have to find another office completely. I made a grievance against that dentist with my insurance and also a request for non payment for my visit since she didn’t do anything besides try to hustle me out of $450.00. STAY AWAY FROM EXCEL DENTAL WOOD ST, LOWELL MA!
